“Ulu Mana is fairly new - it's located across the street from the Hawaiian Chip Company. I did not try the freshly made ulu chips but I did go over for the ulu hummus. The tumeric was my favorite!!The shop also carries a lot of other local products - it's definitely the place to hit up to shop local or take goodies to family/friends in the mainland or abroad.The owner was the one helping me and he was really friendly and welcoming.”

“A wonderful little shop conveniently located on Kokohead Ave (mauka side of Waialae Ave) this store is the perfect curated blend of unique, handmade, eco-conscious and useful gifts. Seriously in need of some last minute Christmas gifts? Come to Every Day Better! They have handmade items, quirky cards, tools for the kitchen, laundry, garden, and locally made items (like cute reusable napkins with rainbow shakas on them). So many useful funny and simply delightful gifts that make shopping fun. Customer service is also exceptional!Parking is easy to find in the nearby metered lot just a block away or in the paid municipal lot. Kaimuki is such a great area to walk and explore, who knows what other treats you'll stumble across.”

“This is a beautiful museum with a great variety of art and history. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and our hotel website said we got two free complimentary admission to the museum. I'm a photographer and jumped on the offer. NOTE: when we went, Feb 2024, if you are staying at the Alohilani Waikiki resort, they no longer have a relationship/don't pay the museum, so the offer on the hotel website is not valid. While we would have gladly paid the entrance, the employee who helped us, Nadine let us in. I will be making a donation to the museum because that's awful and everyone should support the arts. Please visit, it's huge and worth it!”

“I love going to Mori by Art and Flea! The curation of art, clothing, household goods, and more is so much fun to browse through! The person at the counter is always helpful. And although some items might be on the pricey side, they're definitely worth it! Kim Trading is my road to happiness literally as this places is filled with rainbows of bliss for beading, jewelry and the limit is just your imagination. I'd say its' difficult for anyone to beat it's prices with her impressive selections with not just beading but findings and is definitely a great option to always check her out for comparison as I didn't do that and paid dearly for my poor decisions. Located on Maunakea Street directly across from the Marketplace entrance with municipal parking right across the street makes it a super convenient being crafty has it's challenges as I circled and circled not only searching but hoping to see that item to spark that idea bubble in my head. The owner is just the nicest and friendly giving you plenty of space yet will be there for any support or questions you may have. I've seen many who came here to be saved by items that were broken or needed to be put together without trying to make a quick buck. Honestly a place that brings so much joy in our precious items are simply a rare find. Thank you!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The location is fantastic and there is plenty to do. As per my title - the Diamond head tower is in desperate need of updating. Peeling paint, peeling wallpapers and stained furniture. That said, the property is nice and plenty to do. Nice pools and activities although the pools are mostly shade and it gets cold. The food was pretty good at most places but the room service menu is lacking any kids options (bizarre). Also the DVD card is old and archaic and they should just use the room keys. Overall a nice place that could really improve with some small changes”

“The zoo was great BUT we Parkes in a handicapped spot and made sure the placard was hanging from the rear view mirror and got a ticket two hours later for not paying to park. Three of us and mom in a wheelchair and none of saw any signs saying we had to pay for parking. I doubt there are any. Why punish us when they didn't have any visible signs by the handicapped parking. It's crap! Would not recommend going for that reason.. animals were great!”

I reminisce and think of shopping there whenever I pass their old corner location. I will try to make a better effort of shopping Iida's when a gift is needed, or when I need something.”

We were looking the last 2 days for a Hawaiian Roller Bag Luggage and new Italian Shoemaker Shoes for my wife. We looked all over Waikiki yesterday and today returned because Gold N Gifts had exactly what we wanted, at a higher quality than we've seen elsewhere, for a lower price. The service was outstanding and the new Italian Shoemaker Shoes are one of my wife's favorites!Do yourself a favor and give Gold N Gifts a look, you will not be disappointed. “I was hesitant to come after reading negative reviews but glad I did! They do have hand sanitizer when you walk in, which we used because realistically everyone is touching all of the merchandise. Employees were friendly to us. They have a huge selection from figures, eating utensils, stationary, blankets, stuffed animals, calendars and lots more. Most are not things you will find online. We bought a $25 8inch stuffed animal and a $12 calendar. Happy we got to see the store”
