“The store has many items and brands that appeal to range of customers needs, wants. Store cashiers are not the fastest, but they are pleasant and there are usually several so wait time is moderate, sometimes longer.The store has a lot of merchandise for a limited space especially the seasonal section which is always so cluttered and hard to maneuver around in since right by where customers have to wait to pay. I miss the original double entrances that were both along the front of the store (Ka’ahumanu Ave side). They instead created a second entrance as well as adding several registers along the mall side which is usually empty. It seems this store needs some reconfiguring for smoother flow for shoppers and to help more evenly spread out the foot traffic congestion, while deterring shoplifting and loitering.The store is air conditioned, but still doesn’t feel cool… maybe no dehumidifier or AC system that doesn’t work well.”
“Is a great compounding pharmacy. Used to be up in Makawao till the tragic fire bring brought them down to kahului. During the covid crisis pharmacists were amazing. Highly recommended”

“We are so glad Maui has a Costco because you save quite a bit of money. The hot dog is $1.50 and includes a drink. This is great because this is the same price you pay back on the mainland. The line can get long and the people working there are stressed so they were not as friendly. But at least the food was something we were familiar with. Gas was at least a dollar cheaper than the other gas stations at Costco as well.”

“I'm writing a review regarding D Gonzalez from pharmacist at Big Pine, Florida.Wow, the service I received from her was exceptional. I was not well with shingles and travelling from New Zealand. She provided details of a Dr for me and then helped me with skin treatments after I got my prescription.She was extremely busy and made time for me and I appreciated it a lot. I hope she is rewarded for her customer care.”
“We filled out prescription there despite the bad reviews. The woman assisting us was great. She even suggested that she might be able to find us a coupon. We were paying out of pocket after losing a prescription and ended up paying a third of the original price. We were there on a Monday. There was no line, and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Five stars for sure.”

“This is a decent Safeway - maybe a level 2? I shopped around Target, Walmart, and Costco and I think this Safeway had a larger variety of local, made in Hawaii/Maui products. The chocolates are cheaper at Costco and Target though. I like that this location was easy to drive in and out of and that there is a gas station.”
