“I will give these guys credit. I am sure they are being overwhelmed by all the prescriptions since food land pharmacy closed and the next competent pharmacy is located in kahului. They have done a pretty good job with my prescriptions and I like the fact that I can enroll in the auto refill option for meds I have. The store is also usually well lit and pretty clean. The employees are usually pretty friendly. The only thing that drives me nuts is the constant beeping from one of there drink coolers. If I wasn't on medication already the beeping is enough to put me on some. I don't know how the poor staff puts up with it. Ok well for now that's pretty much the whole picture. Oh and the prices are ok on most of the stuff especially if it saves you a trip down the hill. Especially with the price of gas.”

“If you live in upcountry this is one of the few grocery stores. They are pricey for sure but have great prepared food options, poke bar, musubi and bento, pizzas, fried chicken. The cashiers are full of aloha and you feel welcome. They get plenty shopping bag designs too so if you like to collect em all, this is a good spot. Parking is easily available.”

“The store has many items and brands that appeal to range of customers needs, wants. Store cashiers are not the fastest, but they are pleasant and there are usually several so wait time is moderate, sometimes longer.The store has a lot of merchandise for a limited space especially the seasonal section which is always so cluttered and hard to maneuver around in since right by where customers have to wait to pay. I miss the original double entrances that were both along the front of the store (Ka’ahumanu Ave side). They instead created a second entrance as well as adding several registers along the mall side which is usually empty. It seems this store needs some reconfiguring for smoother flow for shoppers and to help more evenly spread out the foot traffic congestion, while deterring shoplifting and loitering.The store is air conditioned, but still doesn’t feel cool… maybe no dehumidifier or AC system that doesn’t work well.”

“For those like me who grew up on going to Longs Drug to shop. This store is the busiest on this island because it's central in my opinion. Staffing is limited be patient. Ask for items if you could not find in store. Staff will help. Late night until early morning stores are locked due to safety issues. Wave down a staff member in store. They will open doors to allow entry. Safe shopping. Highly recommended. Tyvm”

“It maintains a local vibe even so it's a CVS on store which is really amazing. The store houses a large pharmacy and a grocery department, which a lot of people of modest income use to buy lower cost staples. . They have a large selection of candy, which I have visited many many times over the years. Another amazing many of the cashiers have worked there for years they Kapuna that work there and even some of the younger ones tend to be very concerned that you have a good experience and I appreciate shopping there because of it”

“Hello, Sadly we have not been happy when dealing with CVS in AZ but unfortunately are forced to buy meds from you bc that's what our insurance requires.We are in Maui for a while and found that I forgot to bring two critical meds that are taken daily. This was very upsetting as it usually turns into a huge problem at our local CVS and can take several days to resolve. I called the CVS at 55 Kiopaa Street, Pukalani, Hi. and spoke to Kiaaina (not sure about spelling). she was absolutely outstanding, caring, professional, capable and helpful...just amazing. My problem was resolved in a matter of minutes. She is by far the best CVS employee I have ever dealt with and is deserving of special recognition. My wife had a similar with Dominique.”

“I really love Maui Mall because it has some of my favorite stores and it has my favorite movie theatre here on Maui. It is not a huge mall but it seems to have something for everyone. Some parts of the mall are under construction at the moment but the improvements look great. They seemed to have completed the front part between Whole Foods and Longs and it looks great. Now they are still working on the other areas which I'm sure will look great as well. Christmas decorations are up around the mall. Love it. Parking is usually easy to find and Maui Mall is in a great central location with various ways to enter no matter which direction you are coming from. My favorite places at the mall are the following: the movie theatre of course who has the best movie theatre seats, Whole Foods, Longs, Da Shrimp Hale, Thailand Cuisine, Genki and of course Tasaka Guri Guri. We also used to like going to Max's but they closed down. I think they are opening somewhere else. I'm not sure. Maui Mall also has TJ Maxx which is one my favorite stores here on Maui. Check it out :)”

“I switched to this pharmacy after a couple bad experiences with longs filling my meds, and i could not be happier. i have never had a pharmacy fill a medication as fast as they do, around 45 minutes for a drug that would have taken longs 24 hours. Very happy with them, always very nice and efficient, many reviews mention not answering the phone but that is pretty standard for most places on maui, and they have not messed up to an extent i have had to call them. fast and easy pickup as well, consistent hours too. would not purchase anything here due to how expensive safeway is in general, but for medication pickup they are great”

“So fun to see a Longs Drugs straight out of my childhood. They had a nice souvenir section, large beer selection and lots of local stuff. Much easier than trying to get through the Walmart in Kahului, and way smarter than buying sunscreen, souvenirs and snacks at a hotel gift shop. Longs is the place. There's great restaurants nearby, and the swap meet is across the street. I love this little shopping spot in Kihei town.”

“Longs is now owned by CVS which should be a plus for all, mainly because all your prescriptions and club card are linked nationwide. For you smokers, they've axed all tobacco sales. For drinkers, their booze prices can't be beat. But, this location is still 100% Hawaii Longs. It's been here for years and doesn't have the feel of current CVS stores which is a plus. They are still the go-to place for local favorites and school supplies, long before Walmart ever entered the Hawaii market. I mainly patronize this place for grocery items which when on sale can go even lower than Wally's. The sale items are always conveniently located in the central aisle on easy to see square displays. They also have a very good selection of greeting cards, now that our Hallmark is gone. Service is friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and close by. Store is open 24-hours.”
