“We are so glad Maui has a Costco because you save quite a bit of money. The hot dog is $1.50 and includes a drink. This is great because this is the same price you pay back on the mainland. The line can get long and the people working there are stressed so they were not as friendly. But at least the food was something we were familiar with. Gas was at least a dollar cheaper than the other gas stations at Costco as well.”
“The store has many items and brands that appeal to range of customers needs, wants. Store cashiers are not the fastest, but they are pleasant and there are usually several so wait time is moderate, sometimes longer.The store has a lot of merchandise for a limited space especially the seasonal section which is always so cluttered and hard to maneuver around in since right by where customers have to wait to pay. I miss the original double entrances that were both along the front of the store (Ka’ahumanu Ave side). They instead created a second entrance as well as adding several registers along the mall side which is usually empty. It seems this store needs some reconfiguring for smoother flow for shoppers and to help more evenly spread out the foot traffic congestion, while deterring shoplifting and loitering.The store is air conditioned, but still doesn’t feel cool… maybe no dehumidifier or AC system that doesn’t work well.”
“The other day I had a horrible experience with Walgreens pharmacy staff so I took my business to CVS/Longs.. that was the right decision as the staff there are welcoming, friendly and overall just willing to help. Shout out to Jared!! He was fantastic to deal with. Thank you, you are appreciated!”
“For the most part Walmart Pharmacy provides great service!!! Always very helpful!I have only one request/suggestion:Please provide one or two chairs or benches for clients who are unable to stand for long periods of time. I understand that the benches were removed to improve safety during this virus situation, but people may still REALLY need a chance to sit - even for a brief time.Thank you sincerely for your consideration!”

“It maintains a local vibe even so it's a CVS on store which is really amazing. The store houses a large pharmacy and a grocery department, which a lot of people of modest income use to buy lower cost staples. . They have a large selection of candy, which I have visited many many times over the years. Another amazing many of the cashiers have worked there for years they Kapuna that work there and even some of the younger ones tend to be very concerned that you have a good experience and I appreciate shopping there because of it”

“Les is the best pharmacist out there, he would bend over backwards for a customer and has! I understand that he probably is dealing with issues from moving, so give him a break he and his staff do better then any pharmacy team out there. “I really love Maui Mall because it has some of my favorite stores and it has my favorite movie theatre here on Maui. It is not a huge mall but it seems to have something for everyone. Some parts of the mall are under construction at the moment but the improvements look great. They seemed to have completed the front part between Whole Foods and Longs and it looks great. Now they are still working on the other areas which I'm sure will look great as well. Christmas decorations are up around the mall. Love it. Parking is usually easy to find and Maui Mall is in a great central location with various ways to enter no matter which direction you are coming from. My favorite places at the mall are the following: the movie theatre of course who has the best movie theatre seats, Whole Foods, Longs, Da Shrimp Hale, Thailand Cuisine, Genki and of course Tasaka Guri Guri. We also used to like going to Max's but they closed down. I think they are opening somewhere else. I'm not sure. Maui Mall also has TJ Maxx which is one my favorite stores here on Maui. Check it out :)”

“For those like me who grew up on going to Longs Drug to shop. This store is the busiest on this island because it's central in my opinion. Staffing is limited be patient. Ask for items if you could not find in store. Staff will help. Late night until early morning stores are locked due to safety issues. Wave down a staff member in store. They will open doors to allow entry. Safe shopping. Highly recommended. Tyvm”

“This is a decent Safeway - maybe a level 2? I shopped around Target, Walmart, and Costco and I think this Safeway had a larger variety of local, made in Hawaii/Maui products. The chocolates are cheaper at Costco and Target though. I like that this location was easy to drive in and out of and that there is a gas station.”
