“This is my favorite boutique on island. We spend a couple months on Kauai every year and driving down to Veronica’s is one of the first trips we make and one of the last before we leave. And sometimes in between! I always find clothes I absolutely love (my weakness), but the jewelry, artwork, everything is fabulous! And Veronica is a lovely woman and so very helpful.”
“This place is a hidden GEM! The employees are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! I searched for weeks in the states/online for a dress to wear for our engagement photos and didn’t really love anything. Immediately found two beautiful dresses at this store! Reasonably priced and great quality. Definitely recommend checking them out!”
“Favorite clothing store in Kauai. If you’re looking for pretty dresses this is the store for you. Tiffany was really sweet and helpful and she helped us pick beautiful dresses”
“Great store! They had my favorite style/brand of Hawaiian dress and a good selection of rash guards and other clothes. The staff was friendly and accommodating.”

“Puuwai Gallery in Hanapepe Town on the Garden Island is one of the all time best shops ever. Veronica handcrafts all the jewelry and has unique and highly talented artists displaying their handcrafted art. Please visit this world class shop!!!”
“I went into this store with my son’s girlfriend during our trip. I loved it so much, I came back the very next day because I felt that I didn’t spend enough time inside of it! The owner is an absolute doll. High-quality fabrics. Amazing and diverse options. I can only pray she starts an online store so I can shop from home ????”
“You can spend at least an hour looking at all the handmade treasures at your own pace without someone hovering over you! Gorgeous hand blocked printed tableware, crystals, jewelry, wind chimes, blouses and dresses, wraps, and so much more. Some items are a little pricey but overall pretty reasonable for beautiful pieces.”
“Absolutely stunning products. We fell in love with everything in the store. We saved many items to our bucket list because they were so pretty and high quality. We bought our 10 year wooden anniversary wedding ring, Christmas ornament (replicating one from childhood that we have), and a glass lava soap dish (a shape we’ve been searching for in stores for years). We plan to go back later in the week just to look again. Great service too.”
“We were hoping (and expecting ) a different experience here. For what it is, it’s fine. When we came, they had cute little props to pose at outside the store. A surfboard, tikis, a big pineapple. But as soon as we stepped inside it didn’t match the outside at all. It was just one carpeted showroom of fine jewelry. If you want to find a piece of fine jewelry that fits the Hawai’i theme, this is your place but you will pay well for it. We were not at any time greeted and even when I stood at the counter to ask a question, I was more or less ignored. There was another couple being helped but I was not even acknowledged. So we left without any further thought.”
“My wife and I walked into Na Hoku just to browse and left with one of the best shopping experiences in our 30 yrs together….thanks to the most amazing sales representative… Lei!! We left with more than a purchase…..which is so very rare in todays high pressure sales environment. Thanks to Lei my wife got a beautiful ring and necklace along with a piece of Hawaiian culture! Lei, thank you so much for your care and elegance. Na Hoku leadership I can only hope you appreciate Lei as much as she deserves!”

“If you're looking for a reliable place to shop for jewelry, look no further – you can trust that everything will go smoothly here! Very impressed by the owner’s incredibly friendly demeanor. Highly recommend!”
“Super quality clothing! It is a little more on the expensive side but anywhere in Hawaii is going to be expensive. I have gotten two pairs of men’s shorts now and my husband loves the material they use on their shorts. Also, their staff is always very friendly and accommodating.”
“The best place to get Okukai footwear! Awesome selection, friendly staff. The Aloha shirts are stunning and have amazing fabric quality (Tori Richard brand). Women’s batik print clothing, flowy pants and tops. Stop in here!”

“It is a gift shop in a hotel so of course the prices are a bit high, but honestly I was surprised that they were not too bad and they have a decent selection of items. Especially ready made sandwiches to avoid a few overpriced hotel lunches.”

“I had been looking for shells for my granddaughter and finally found them in this delightful shop, at a very reasonable price. ( from 80 cents to $2.80 each). I also bought one that was quite large- maybe 6-7 inches long- in a beautiful pink that was only $12.80. I was very pleased with this purchase. The other items in the store were really nice too- not your typical made in China surfboards. They had totes and other items made of fabric that are great souvenirs. The sales staff was very helpful and pleasant, giving me a basket to hold all my shells and wrapping them carefully for me to travel. The wooden serving pieces were also very nice and very well- priced. Lots to chose from - I think I might have to go back tomorrow for more!!!”
“Cute little store. They have tons of t-shirts, swim wear, socks, ornaments, etc. Although the shopping experience was a little strange, I did find a lot of Souvenirs I love. The signs saying what was on sale were a bit difficult to interpret. The lady helping us wasn't very nice, reminded us she was closing in 10min, and made some jokes about how long we were taking. Then when we brought our stuff to the counter to pay, she thought I had switched a price tag (didn't believe the price until I went back and grabbed an identical shirt with the identical price).”
“This was my favorite shop in Kauai. Dale Marie had a little bit of everything in her shop, from reasonably priced small souvenirs to exclusive jewelry. She took the time to answer questions and tell about each artist. I loved shopping at this quaint, local shop!”
