When she couldn’t find it in store she tracked down the very last one at another location. Had it brought to Waikīkī so that I could purchase before I left the Island. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable.”

Jerome, the owner, is amazing and the whole operation is such a labor of love. You all need to add this to your list of must-visit places in Kailua or just Oahu in general.”

“This place is hella cute, has lots of cool local artisan made stuff like candles, jewelry, puzzles, etc. There's a lil clearance section too if you're bargain hunting. Would be great for gifts. I bought a couple stickers, native flora and fauna. They also had free pride stickers, patches, and flags for pride month. Friendly service and clean cute place. Definitely recommend visiting. It's tucked away in the parking lot by the Himalayan restaurant entry.”
“We have a guest bedroom that has been hardly used. So, we decided to remodel it to a Japanese style room with Tatami mats and found the Sannaka West on the Internet. After a consultation with a well thought out plan, our Japanese room was completed yesterday. They brought a carpenter from Japan specializing in the Japanese carpentry. His skill is simply amazing. The finished product is so precisely assembled and it looks like one of those rooms in expensive Japanese Inns. We also purchased the Japanese style cushions, a coffee table, and 2 sets of Futon from them. Great quality. Yes, they can be expensive but totally worthwhile. We are very happy with the quality of their service and products. I haven't been to their new showroom yet but will visit and buy a few items for our new room. RECOMMENDED.”

“I went to this store and was not actually thinking about buying anything. The prices were really good considering they customized all of the ornaments. Conner was working and he is an incredible employee. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I used to be a retail manager for 8 years, if I was still in that position I would steal Conner for my own store. It's so hard to find great employees who actually care about their jobs and the customer. Conner deserves a raise and a promotion! Thank you Conner!”

They either ask, "How can I get one" or "love that". These are also the most comfortable shirts I have ever bought and everyone that I gifted with a shirt loved it just as much as I do. “It's like they read my mind...Refinery always seem to have something interesting with a slight twist to make you say...aha! This very fun and artsy shop is filled with items for all ages and even for our pets and home that just adds that touch making it our own.They strangely always have an incredible inventory of bags here none really that's for my taste and style but I guess it popular so it's kept fully stocked which is great. The novelty items are funny though very specific and is great for gift giving as it's things you normally don't get for yourself but know who'd love it and will put into great use.I do always find something here but it's so pricey I give another thought and see if I'm able to find something elsewhere first before I make that purchase if starting with a gift bag $12.50 I'm afraid what the total cost for the items will be at the end is frightful.It's really a fun and artsy place that's so much fun to browse and do have so much on my wish list...hint hint but give this place a browse who know what you'll find!Thank you!”

“[Tropical ??X'MAS] When I travel overseas, I visit the Christmas store and collect goods! →?Moana Surfrider store?I've visited you several times in the past, but I came here twice this time...It's so cute and soothing!Inside the small shop, there is a tanned Santa wearing short shorts. Surfing reindeer & Santa. Brightly colored X'MAS ornaments from ? and ?. The plate goods such as the wedding version and family version are too crowded.The date and name can be written on the plate, making it perfect as a souvenir or souvenir. (I use the year and name as usual)The items were carefully wrapped and placed in a cute bag ?️, and a calendar card was also included!When I returned to Japan, I immediately went to see my collection friends.For Japanese people, it's always summer ? Isn't it exciting to have Christmas all year round near the sea?The woman who owns the store is kind and the staff are kind. I would like to shop there again when I stay in Waikiki ☺️✌️”

“I cannot remember a time when I’ve shopped at Ross’ and met an unhappy employee. I had gone to the Windward mall to find a few things I needed and all but 1 person working there seemed unhappy. I should have tried Ross’ there, but had my mind set on Windward City Shopping Center. So off I went. As soon as I walked through the door at Ross’, (12/16/23) the greeter set the mood with a big smile and a “Hello”. Then there was the woman working in the isle putting things back in the right places. She directed me to where the items I wanted would be found, and even started to walk me there, but I told her I’ll go check it out. Then the cashier. Such a sweet heart. And a “mahalo” from the greeter on the way out. Everyone was so pleasant, welcoming and professional. The Aloha spirit is always alive there. Thank you Ross, for keeping your employees happy. It shows! And this senior Citizen really appreciates it ? ?❣️ ? ?”
