“This was my first experience with Sixt, and they have earned a return customer. Check-in was a very smooth experience. Surprisingly, while the other rental agencies had long lines, I was able to get to an agent right away here.
The customer service rep was so nice. She entertained my kids, who were running around after hours on a plane, and even carried my Mother's bags up to the rental. Just a very sweet gesture.
The drop off was seamless. They have the first set of stalls on the 4th level, and again I found no lines. Got my detailed invoice right there and the agent told me where I needed to go to catch my shuttle to the terminal.
Overall, a wonderful rental experience. The van we needed was as expected. The car seats we rented were clean and very convenient. I would rather have an experience like this than have points from the other chains, for sure. We'll be back!”

“For some odd reason, BRAC was the cheapest online for the weekend I booked. Normally I rent through Enterprise or Alamo.
Prepaid online to get a better deal. Pickup at the HNL inter island terminal was fast & courteous. Check-in agent was pleasant and tried to upsell us a convertible Camaro, but we didn't go for it. There was a minute tax prompting the agent to collect from me even if I prepaid. He removed it without me asking. Got into a 2-door Jeep which was less than a subcompact for some reason. The Jeep definitely smelled like a rental. 3 downfalls: Gas pedal was super had to press, the plastic windows & canvas roof calls out to thieves (luckily nothing happened,) and manual door locks. Ended up being a great little SUV to zip around the island in because of it's short length. Returning was easy, quick & convenient.
Would definitely rent here more often if the prices were more naturally competitive!”

“On July 9, my adrenaline went skyrocketed because I was on a very time constraint to get from Aulani to Kualoa Ranch, which is on the east side of the island. Back in February, at the time of booking, I was confirmed by Aulani booking staff that there would be someone at Alamo at 7:30 am to assist with car rental; thus, I kept by reservation at Kualoa Ranch UTV Raptor tour. To my shocking, two days prior to my car rental, I happened to find out that was not the case-Alamo does not open until 8:00 am. Whether there was a miscommunication between the two agencies, I was under great stress that 8:00 am processing paperwork and checking rental car would indeed delay my drive to Kualoa Ranch, and I would lose the tour experience and refund. But to a kind customer-in need saver, Nico, one of the Alamo staff was so thoughtful and compassionate to go out of his way to help get all the paperwork completed prior to business hour, so that I can be on the road immediately. My family and I were truly grateful for his kindness, empathy and unselfishness of his non-work hour to help get us to our first time experience at Kualoa Ranch excursion. If it wasn't for Nico, we would have probably missed it because that weekend just so happened having a fair next to the ranch, and there were so many cars. Nico, I hope you have an opportunity to see this review. I want to thank you again for all that you have done. Our summer highlight was really the experience of riding on the UTV Raptor and touring around the breathtaking view of the ranch, valley, and ocean. THANK YOU!!!!”
