“I had the opportunity to train with Carlos Chavez and essentially received a private lesson tonight. His knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is outstanding, but what impressed me most was his ability to break techniques down in a way that actually makes sense and sticks.

Carlos is patient, professional, and genuinely invested in helping his students improve, no matter their experience level. He took the time to answer questions, correct mistakes, and explain the details that make a huge difference on the mats.

“The owner and staff are super nice and helpful here. Lots of Aloha. Plenty of parking. Weight machine and cardio area is clean, well-spaced, and the machines are well maintained. The vibe is all about exercising and working out hard but in a very calm, relaxed environment. It is also a great value. This place is wonderful, and feels like gym-home every time we come to visit - they even remember our names from year to year! Awesome teeshirts, too. Super cool spot.”

“There are so many reasons I love this place. First, people here really take their workout seriously, but it's not the posing, grunting and showing off wanna be manly kind of place that just puts me off as a normal person. Second, it's a Maui vibe. Third, lots of classes included in the membership, including yoga. Fourth, there's a separate room dedicated to SERIOUS powerlifting. Fifth, if you're part time of the year in Maui, the membership allows you to pause and start up again. That makes it far more affordable and starts to feel like home.”
