“The property is a little dated, probably built in the mid-70s. It was my guess. But the rooms are nice. Seem to be in great shape. Close to activities. Everything's well kept. I would come back.”

“My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was beautiful. From the staff to the location, it provides everything you need. The entire staff is amazing and the overall place has us wanting to comeback. Perfect for couples as there are definitely less children than the Hyatt or other big names in the area.”

“If you’re going to Kauai for vacation, then look no further than Kuhio Shores. This condominium is well situated even if you have to walk to the closest mall. Most of everything on Kauai does require a rental car. The unit we rented was 208. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked on our arrival. The balcony opening up onto the ocean was amazing. The views were fantastic and we saw sea turtles every day right from our lanai. You’ll see wonderful sunrises. Overall this unit was exceptionally clean. There is coin-operated laundry. Just be leery. If you decide to park your car underneath the trees, you will need to borrow the hose in the morning to wash off all the bird poop. Otherwise, all in all, I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the island of Kauai.”

“Not a great resort if you have a difficult time walking. The walk to the car is 5-8 minutes from most of the hotel rooms. Parking very crowded. Lots of little ants in rooms, but nothing that made me want to leave.”
“Gorgeous prime location. Rooms are a bit outdated but the property’s beach access is wonderful along with ease of comfortably parking near. It’s very well kept, great access to good restaurants nearby. Would also note most of the units seem to have thin wood framed windows, so though there’s no noise at night, you can comfortably hear through all units through the day. Staff is generally kind, and service/water equipment rentals are very affordable.Important note: Pool and Gym are NOT on the property and you’ll either be walking or driving over for access to the Poipu Athletic club. Super friendly staff there along with a great restaurant with poolside service.Rooms: OlderSafety: So safe!Walkability: Very walkableFood & drinks: Great access nearby but nothing on property”
“Beautiful hotel on a beautiful property on an amazing island! A great place to stay. And service was excellent.
Food was good, but not exceptional. Pricey breakfast with some twists: buffet is expensive but not remarkable. Coffee is 7.00, but they leave the pot. Want a second cup? Another 7.00. So 14.00 for a pot of coffee.
The room was clean, nicely appointed, but standard. Recommend staying any floor besides the third: upper floors are probably nice.
Will come back, but get an upper floor room and try some of their better restaurants.”
