“Everyone is really friendly and the service is excellent. The rooms are a touch dated but we barely spent any time in them. The pools here are really nice. Never felt over crowded and could always find a chair. The beach here during our stay is not swimmable. You have to drive a few minutes to poipu beach if you want to go in the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Lawai Beach resort location is great. We had booked a room through RCI and we were lucky to get a room in the Ali's building which is nicely renovated and has ocean views. We asked for a portable AC unit, the resort had it preinstalled in the room when we checked in.
The guest staff is very friendly and responsive and the location can't be beat especially if you are in the one of the ocean view buildings.”

We went to Koa Kea yesterday. It doesn’t look like anything happened. They have it cleaned up so nice now. They take such good care of me and Dad. The valets don’t even ask if we need help with the wheelchair. The just get it out of the trunk as soon as we pull.
They always make us feel appreciated and welcome.
We were the only ones sitting having something to eat at the pool and there was a couple people sitting at the bar from Germany that I was talking to. It was so nice to get out. Erin the bartender is so sweet to us. Thank you for making them feel welcomed!”

“If you’re going to Kauai for vacation, then look no further than Kuhio Shores. This condominium is well situated even if you have to walk to the closest mall. Most of everything on Kauai does require a rental car. The unit we rented was 208. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked on our arrival. The balcony opening up onto the ocean was amazing. The views were fantastic and we saw sea turtles every day right from our lanai. You’ll see wonderful sunrises. Overall this unit was exceptionally clean. There is coin-operated laundry. Just be leery. If you decide to park your car underneath the trees, you will need to borrow the hose in the morning to wash off all the bird poop. Otherwise, all in all, I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the island of Kauai.”

“Gorgeous prime location. Rooms are a bit outdated but the property’s beach access is wonderful along with ease of comfortably parking near. It’s very well kept, great access to good restaurants nearby. Would also note most of the units seem to have thin wood framed windows, so though there’s no noise at night, you can comfortably hear through all units through the day. Staff is generally kind, and service/water equipment rentals are very affordable.Important note: Pool and Gym are NOT on the property and you’ll either be walking or driving over for access to the Poipu Athletic club. Super friendly staff there along with a great restaurant with poolside service.Rooms: OlderSafety: So safe!Walkability: Very walkableFood & drinks: Great access nearby but nothing on property”

“So we are the daytrip kind of people not the stay at the resort kind of people. We enjoy getting out of the room 2-3 times a day to go on a mini adventure. The easy access to your vehicle is huge for us. Seems like some rooms are a bit nicer or more updated, but all the rooms appear clean and well appointed. We might hit the pool or the hot tub but thats not the reason we come to Kauai. Proximity to Koloa and Lihue are also huge benefits as our idea of nightlife is going to Costco then Target before hitting up another plate lunch place.”
