“Good clean station. Prices were average, and everything moved along smoothly.
There were a lot of vehicles getting fuel, so we had to wait for a few minutes, but everything is organized and moved along steadily, so we didn't have to wait long until it was our turn to fill up and get moving again. All in all, a good experience for a gas station.”

“In our experience this is best place to go in Pahoa for vehicle repairs / diagnostics- we called on a Monday and Aaron got us in for an appointment the next day 8.30am to fix a drifting steering wheel and potential wheel rebalancing. The diagnosis was done within 5 minutes of our arrival and corrected within 1 hour. We'd been for a free check at a famous, national company (also in Pahoa) 10 days prior and it turned out that their decision to overinflate the tires had actually caused a bulge in our front left tire which was not only causing the vibration and drifting but was also about to blow any second (SCARY). We will only go to Paul's Repair from now on because they are not only knowledgeable and professional but they're fast too!! “My husband and I had to get my mother-in-law’s car inspected and approved for registration. We ran into a snag when my “mil’s” insurance card didn’t pop up with the appropriate information, so my husband and I (using 2 smart phones and a limited amount of tech savvy) had to do a conference call with his mom, the insurance agent and us. Needless to say it was much more time consuming and complicated than expected. Keith and his staff were great. Since my “mil” had been their client for a long time, they were very patient and helpful while the whole insurance complication was figured out, and went right to work once everything was sorted out. The whole process took a lot longer than expected, but they were really great about making it feel like it wasn’t a big deal on their end of things.

“Cheapest gas station near Hilo Airport. This is a gas station operated by a supermarket chain called Safeway. If you plan to return your rental car at Hilo Airport, we recommend stopping here to get your last tank of gas. As expected from a gas station restaurant, you can always see a line of cars waiting to fill up. This is self-fueling, and you insert the card you wish to pay with first and then remove the card. After that, you can select whether to receive a receipt, select the octane level, and start refueling. The automatic refueling lever on the handle of the gas pump may be broken, so it may be inconvenient to have to keep holding it.”

“I absolutely love pumping my own gas. I'm good at it and my car seems to appreciate my efforts. I use the best gas possible, every time and I don't allow drips on my paint. I'm a good gas pumperer.For the gas station itself, not to shabby. Pretty clean & tidy & the gas doesn't have unpleasant odors like other gas stations, you can practically stay here all day and not be bothered by the gas fumes at all.”
“I come here to buy the chicken and the wedges. When it's fresh, it's gooood! I love the fried chicken skins as well. The older Japanese lady at the counter is very friendly and polite. I'd recommend this place if you want fresh fried chicken. It's better than KFC?????”

“Low price. The nozzle works well and the receipt comes out of the gas pump. At 76, which is about 5 minutes away, it was difficult to refuel because the nozzle was old, but the price here is cheaper and better.”

“It was just a stop to buy a newspaper, but seemed to be very clean and the cashier was very nice. A couple people were getting gas and the cashier was very friendly and outgoing. It was a quick stop, but a very nice one.”

“I stop here before going to work, due to the convenient location. Some of their items don't have price tags or they are worn out & hard to read. I find it inconvenient, but it's important to know since it does add up.
Their breakfast bentos look freshly made in the morning and they do make a wide variety. However, I don't know how long it's left out on the counter without refrigeration. So if I decide to purchase a breakfast bento, I go there early.
There's usually one friendly cashier that engages with customers by greeting and thanking them. It would be nice if other cashiers were friendly and welcoming as well. I also think its great the cashiers still wear masks for precaution.”

“I've always encountered friendly workers when I've gone here to put gas. I've once had trouble finding my rewards card and a worker informed that there there is an app I can download to access my rewards that I acquired. Which I didn't know about, so I was pleased that I was able to still use my rewards towards my gas purchase that day.”

Ana provided such clear communication and made the entire process incredibly easy. I never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. I called on Tuesday, and they had my bins picked up and delivered by Thursday (the same day the bins arrived at the pier)—amazing turnaround!
