“Glad to know that after the Lahaina fire this Safeway is open and available for the West Maui community. They have a great wine and cheese section for beach picnics. But most importantly everything you can find at a mainland Safeway is available here. Customer service is great when you need assistance and over this is clean environment. Due to the recent water restoration there are still outdoor porta potty and sink options in use.”
“we are so happy that the Fires did not destroy this store although it was closed do to the other problems the fires did cause. Hopefully they will reopen soon. They are not cheap but cheap for that part of the island and selection is decent but not all encompassing”

“Local grocery store with a varied inventory, reasonable prices, helpful employees. Tends to get very crowded when newly arrived tourists need to stock up on groceries. We were there inducing Maui's floods of March 2026 but somehow they managed to keep the shelves stocked. Plenty of parking.”

“Good little grocery with usually more reasonable prices than ABC or Whalers General Store (the worst). It’s still a convenience store, so not exactly cheap but reasonable. Decent selection of stuff and you can mix/match soda and get a six pack price.
I own a place nearby and if I need something quick I go here. Nice people too.”
