“we are so happy that the Fires did not destroy this store although it was closed do to the other problems the fires did cause. Hopefully they will reopen soon. They are not cheap but cheap for that part of the island and selection is decent but not all encompassing”

“Glad to know that after the Lahaina fire this Safeway is open and available for the West Maui community. They have a great wine and cheese section for beach picnics. But most importantly everything you can find at a mainland Safeway is available here. Customer service is great when you need assistance and over this is clean environment. Due to the recent water restoration there are still outdoor porta potty and sink options in use.”

“Since Foodland is closed, head here. Good poke. get the hanalei poi tub for $15, very fresh from Prince I'll kuaui. The pastries are ordinary, and no coffee grinder- hit the foodland by airport before coming to Kaanapali to regrind coffee to espresso. Also get a slice of lilikoi pie at foidland yummy., and Han bay for $12. Times has butane cylinders for the small gas stove.”
