“Was in dire need of a Four Loko (don't ask) which surprisingly is not carried by any big supermarket anywhere. I called in case and recognized the owner had a Korean accent - bonus, love supporting the people. Ma people! There were several flavors available! Owner was super sweet.”
“We found Tamura's Fine Wines and Liquors!
After 2 attempts down wrong driveways/mini shopping malls.
It is a hidden gem!
All spirits and assessories are here, plus fish!
Yes, their assortment of poking is amazing.
We wished the young man behind the counter was more engaging and courteous... Maybe he was having a bad day ?
Tamura's have a nice assortment of logo baseball style hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and even koozies.
This place is definitely on our list to visit and purchase poki!”
“Local store that sells touristy items like souvenirs, magnets, mugs, etc. We stopped by few different ABCs to grab Hawaii chips and other items to take on our roadtrip. Staff at every location were super friendly. Worth a stop if you see one along your way.”
“Maybe I read a lot of recommendations online before coming here, so my expectations were a bit high.
When I actually arrived, I found that it was just like that. There was nothing special about it except that it had more Japanese stuff.”
“Good place to get your basic groceries and Specialty Asian items. Great selection of wine spirits and cigars. But they are grossly on demand and understaffed so there may be a wait if you need to access the area that this place liquor and tobacco. That's my only deal with this place. If you want some assistance with purchasing liquor and or cigars you will probably need to wait anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes before someone frees up to help you.”
