“I go in here pretty regularly for glasses cleaner as well as the occasional pair and the customer service is always surprisingly amazing for a sunglasses store. Seems like every time i happen to be in there I’m helped immediately. Myra is usually the one to greet and help me. She’s awesome, knowledgeable and fast! Highly recommend this shop for a pair of shades or good leans cleaning stuff. 10/10”

“Great customer service at this store! Finally made a trip to Maui and it’s a must for me to visit a Local Motion whenever I go to the Islands. We stayed near Lahaina and saw there was a Local Motion in town so we had to go check it out. When we got to the store we were immediately greeted by the team working they day. After a little browsing were approached by an associate named Jachia who was really nice and helpful! She showed us the deals going on and had no problem checking and looking for sizes for me and my girlfriend. She was really helpful, patient, and friendly especially with us asking a lot of questions. During the visit we also did get introduced to Nate who was really nice too! Our visit to the store that day was great! It didn’t just feel like we went shopping but felt like we made new friends! Thank you Jachia for all the help and awesome service!”

“Great boat and captain. We did the snorkel trip to Lanai and it was really fun. We were fortunate enough to see a whale late in the season as well as spinner dolphins and some giant green turtles. Breakfast was a nice muffin with fruit and lunch was a nice turkey sammich with a chocolate chip ?. I would do this trip again! Super convenient out of Lahaina too.”

“I was at your store today at around 5 in the afternoon with my 24 month old son a while ago and while looking for shirts at the men's section when I didn't notice my son went of your store and rode his bike. Your associate that time called my attention and chased my son because he was about to go down the stairs using his bike and that is truly admirable of her. It exceeds the expectations in the role of a sales associate. I wasn't able to ask her name but I thank her for going beyond the call of duty. If not for her my son would have had an accident.”

“Having worked in retail in the past, it was a very pleasant experience this last time I was in (12/13 mid day). I absolutely LOVE what you've done with the ceiling! Feels more Hawaiian and makes the store feel more welcoming. The girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful and seemed like the kind of employees any retailer would be lucky to have. “We have bought Cariloha towels and sheets in the past and love them. We tried out the mattress in the store and it feels so comfortable and luxurious. Peighton helped us with the purchase of a new mattress at the Kaanapali store. She was so knowledgeable. We can’t wait until our new mattress is delivered.”

“Not usually one to review retail stores, but I had to say something about this particular store. Despite the fact the A/C was not working, the staff was friendly, helpful and incredibly upbeat. They even made it a point to say how much they appreciated our remaining in the store to shop for clothes in the heat and humidity. Travis Mathew company has a great staff working this store! Hope they got the A/C fixed!”

“Love this shop! I got an absolutely gorgeous swim suit here and a cute hat. My mom also got some great beach cover ups. We went in here several times while we were in the area because we just couldn't get enough of the fashion. It's been several months and we are both really still enjoying our purchases. “I really love what this store sells. Huge selection, reasonable prices, all sizes for men and women. What I don't like is the lack of service sometimes. I was shopping with my daughter for swimsuits and there were three ladies unpacking at the counter and other shoppers as well and they didn't stop what they were doing to help any of us and we all had to go ask for help multiple times. One time they took my daughter's suits out of her room and we had to regather them. I would give three stars but there was one young man working there. What was his name?something Old Testament. Anyway he was awesome and super helpful!!”

“Was on vacation and they were doing a wheel raffle ranging from free socks shirts to beach towels and 50% off I was lucky enough to get a free shirt and a beach towel just by trying on a pair of shorts and my lady also got a free shirt. Everything with Hawaii on it is exclusive and can’t get anywhere else. But prices are really high for volcom products. That’s why the 4 stars. I wish all volcom stores had these raffles where I’m from.”

“I really hope you re-open when Maui gets re-built. Every time I visited Maui, I always bought several shirts I still cherish today. I was sad I didn't treat my daughter to some cute shirts when I brought my 2 yr old for the 1st time as I always dreamed of getting her to Maui. Your staff was so nice when we came in after the Halloween parade 2022 & I've been kicking myself on not buying her some cute shirts. I truly hope you & your staff are all safe & healthy. And I hope you re-open some day because your store made me very happy & i've been living in one of my shirts from the store as I've been coordinating food donations from my trade show clients to get big donations to Maui. “After we got back from Maui I realized there were more shirts I wished I had bought at Honolua surf. I tried the website and wasn't finding the sizes I needed, so I called the front Street store. Wound up talking to a wonderful young lady named Gabby- She went above and beyond with her customer service- helping me get what I needed! And all while she was still having to serve customers in the store ! (Was the only one working) She did it with a smile with a great attitude and called the other stores to get the sizes I needed and coordinate everything with me via text. You just don't find service like that very many places and especially not when it's over the phone AND in theses Covid times when many in retail are being overworked! I reallyhope her management will read this because she's an amazing employee -need to make sure you keep her and reward her well!!Thank you Gabby! Some in my family are getting some pretty cool Christmas presents because of you!! Plus I got that aloha spirit one more time after my trip! Can't wait to continue that feeling when I put on my new T! Mahalo!!”
