From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, the staff was incredibly organized, friendly, and accommodating. They made sure to fit us in at a time that worked best for our busy schedule, and the entire process was seamless.
The receptionists deserve special praise for their amazing follow-up. After our visit, they called to check in on how my pet was doing, showing genuine care and concern. She also let us know a medication they had ordered was available and for our pet in the same day to get that medication. This extra step made me feel like my pet’s well-being was truly important to them.
During the visit, the care and thoroughness shown by the veterinarian were impressive. They took the time to listen to all my concerns, explain everything clearly, and provided thoughtful recommendations tailored to my pet’s needs. I felt reassured knowing that my pet was in such capable hands. The level of compassion and professionalism at this clinic is outstanding. Lihue Veterinary Hospital
3113 Oihana St, LihueI was going to Dr Haas and then Dr Mariko took over. My 13 year old pit bull had an emergency yesterday and when I called, they said to bring him in right away . Luckily he was fine, but I am so grateful forthe last minute accommodation. Also, the prices are very reasonable, It is actually affordable and attainable pet vet care.( No price gouging here) or unnecessary tests. I was told my 2 pits needed to be sedated before a nail trim at another place. Here, Dr Mariko said no, that they could do it without sedation. And they did, quick and easy. My dogs love going there, they are treated so well.
And I feel confident bringing them in, that they will be well taken care of. It’s really a great piece of mind knowing you have a good place to take your pets to

It's an adorable place, the drinks and food were absolutely delicious and the customer service was fantastic. They even gave recommendations on other things for us to do and go see. We will absolutely be going back while we're here and for our next trip! Highly recommend.

3082 Peleke St #101, LihueThis fish market opens at 6:30 AM which is perfect for those who need to be up early to go to the airport. The spicy salmon is good, big chucks of salmon. I did half greens and half rice. The greens were a bit bitter. This poke is a bit more saucy so recommend the sauces on the side if you don't like too much sauce. The max salad here isn't up to my quality of Mac salad so I would skip on that.

I asked the owner what her personal favorite was and got just that. The presentation alone blew my socks off. Coconut infused whipped cream?! Stop it. Now for the kicker…I don’t drink caffeine so I can only get decaf. Most places don’t have it but this small food truck did and my Americano was so good it tasted like a latte. I can’t recommend this place more.

We chanced upon it as we were looking for a quick meal and my gosh, their burgers were phenomenal and so was the pork belly! Very nice family also & very friendly! I wish we could have taken out some more meals with us going on our way back to Maui but wow, I’m still thinking about that pork belly until now ⭐️

Big Monster Sushi & Thai- LIHUE
3-3204 Kuhio Hwy, LihueThis place is wonderful! Went here with hubby. Great service, waitress was friendly and so was the guy who also helped us. Felt welcomed by all the staff from the moment we walked in, even the sushi chefs! The food was very good, started with pork lumpia, delicious, then had a few rolls of sushi that were excellent, we had a Spider roll, Samurai roll and California roll. Crab fried rice too. Amazes us how quickly these restaurants on Kauai can serve everyone so quickly and do it with excellent service and delicious food. We were in and out in 40 minutes and it wasn't a rushed feeling at all. Just a very full, happy tummy! Restaurant is cute and decorated for Christmas. There is another restaurant in Kapaa we will have to try as well. Highly recommend this one in Lihue!

I happened upon this quaint, friendly and fast place by accident. Located next to Inkspot, people drive by for a really quick and onolicious pickup. They offer 3 simple bentos that offer a quick but wide variety of food. Drop by to get your quick fix to start your day. They open at 6am. D, one of the owners was really informative and helpful. And the food offerings is what attracts your eye at their prices. Not overly huge but very reasonable and economical portions in these trying times. A nice niche option just minutes from anywhere in town and the airport. Onolicious! ??✌️

So good, in fact, that we're looking to go back for another lunch! It was pretty busy when we went, so the food took a while to come out. Definitely plan ahead if you're going during the lunch hour.

3-825 Kaumualii Hwy, LihueWhile visiting the island, we participated in the field trip program and fostered a dog for a day. The dog, Asia, was such a sweet girl and so well behaved. We had such a fun time bringing her on a hike with us! We were provided with a bag full of all the supplies we could need - towel, water, treats, etc. What a wonderful and well-run program!
