“The Costco in Lihue is a lifesaver for both locals and visitors on Kauai. It’s conveniently located and consistently well-stocked, making it the perfect first stop to load up on essentials. While it can get quite busy, the lines move remarkably fast, and the staff are always hardworking and friendly.
One of the best parts about this location is the outdoor food court—it’s such a treat to enjoy a hot dog or a slice of pizza in the fresh air. They also carry a fantastic selection of local items you won't find on the mainland, like fresh poke, local Kauai coffee, Koloa Rum, and beautiful orchid leis. The gas station is also a huge plus, offering some of the most competitive prices on the island. Whether you're stocking up for a week at the beach or just looking for great deals on bulk souvenirs like macadamia nuts, this Costco is an essential part of the Kauai experience.”
“Needed to get a prescription in a pinch while visiting the island. We didn’t bring our Costco card with us for obvious reasons. The staff were accommodating and super quick in getting us everything we needed!”

“They squeezed me in last minute on a Sunday for two tires. Then I came back a couple of days later for the other two tires—I left my car as a drop-off, and they had it finished an hour earlier than promised. The tires ride smooth, the air sensors still work, and there are no issues with vibration or any such thing. Overall great experience with the staff and merchandise.”

“This Lihue location opened along with the warehouse in 2006, with six lanes, a small queuing area and easy access from the main highway.
How could I rate any Costco gas station lower than a 5 star? Gas prices here were running about $1 less per gallon than other stations, the hours are fair (sans for being closed on certain holidays), filling up is quick and the facilities were clean.

While this station is significantly smaller than the Maui location, it opened a full 6 years before ours did.”
