Super friendly and helpful staff. I shouldn't call them staff, they are like your friends, on your side for anything you might need, going above and beyond their call for duty.
They help you choose the most efficient and least costly method in shipping. They bring your item out to you even if you just missed their closing time and couldn't find the item you expect in your box just yet!
I almost want to hang out with these guys and gals there, day in day out. Thank you all for making residents feel so welcome.”
“There is nothing like good old snail mail and thank God for the USPS of Haleiwa. Granted, as tourists, perhaps our views are skewed, but truly had quick and kind service here. “Ms. Lisa is amazing! We’ve been here since August of last year and the few times we’ve stopped in the post office it has always been Ms. Lisa. She’s very helpful and efficient and ensures that when mailing a box that we’re using the right one with correct postage. One time I accidentally used a priority mail box that wasn’t labeled flat rate and she caught it and I didn’t realize how much cost difference was to send between the two. Ms. Lisa made sure I got the right box as I had already prepaid and hit me with some knowledge that I use going forward. I really hope that while we’re here that Ms. Lisa is permanent as she has such a positive energy and friendly vibe there. She definitely has the Aloha spirit ?”
“I always go to USPS Waipahu whenever I need to do a person to person transaction. Besides it's located where I reside, personnel thereat like Lupe are customer friendly and know their work!”

“This post office is phenomenal. While it may have received some bad reviews in the past I wanted to update the ratings here. The accessibility of having this on base is not only great but I use it constantly and not only have great experiences every single time but also get advice on the best way to package whatever I'm shipping. Constantly I see people coming in to just say hello to the staff when they don't even have anything to ship out. Sure you have to park and get into the hospital to use it but that's a small hurdle to have the ability to use it's services. And again, the staff is AMAZING!”
“I love the convenient after hours of it being open for the working class. I usually can't make it to any post office but this location closes later at 8pm on weekdays! New discovery of this location has made it possible to get boxes out if need be. Service is great too, they are quick and friendly. There is a nice breeze sometimes too while waiting in line. :)”
“Great post office. Fast, friendly service. Lots of flat rate priority boxes in the lobby. A fair amount of parking. They sell packing supplies and greeting cards, too.”
“Please print off labels and package stuff up before getting there!!! It's cheaper and takes less time. I sell though eBay and Depop so I'm at the post offices alot.These are some of the shortest lines of any post office I've ever been to and they are always super friendly. The only time there is a line here is when you have people who didn't pack up their packages before hand.Tip: They have a bin to drop off packages that are prepaid and it's even available after they are closed.”

“When I went it was just before 12pm, and had only 1 personnel working the counter while another was filling the box area. The line did kind of backed up but moved along.”
“The only thing I don't like is the smell on urine near my box. Doors are off so homeless sometimes come in for a bathroom break. Wish there was more lighting.”
