“I had such a positive experience at Ke Ola Pets. The quality of care, attention to detail, and genuine compassion I received, especially from Dr. Yap, was truly exceptional. The entire staff was friendly, patient, and welcoming, and I always felt like my pet’s well-being was their priority. I do think some of the negative reviews may ultimately come from a place of how much people care about their animals, especially when they’re dealing with something stressful or emotional. That said, based on my own experience, the care I received at Ke Ola was leaps and bounds better than my experiences at other clinics on the island. Veterinary care is expensive pretty much everywhere, and unfortunately that’s just part of having a pet. What stood out to me about Ke Ola was that they clearly care about the animals they treat and will genuinely try to help you wherever they can. I never felt like my pet was just another appointment or a number. I’m very grateful for the care and attention we received and would absolutely recommend Ke Ola Pets to other pet owners.”

“We brought our mini dachshund Koko to check if she has ivdd while somehow injuring herself this past weekend. Dr. Schmerbauch and the vet tech is so positive and friendly. We are going to try strict crate rest and medication first since we cannot do the surgery at the moment. Koko doesn’t cry out in pain or show any pain of discomfort. Koko’s normal doctor is Furutani but we took the first available and I find both doctors equally knowledgeable and extremely caring. Thank You Dr. S for calming the parents too.”

“Dr. Jordan was amazing! My puppy was dealing with a lot of issues we were unsure & scared about him losing weight, no energy, etc. Dr. Jordan did a full check up, gave him an IV, and sent us home with medicine. My pup is back to normal! His assistant was also very kind and you can tell they love animals there.”

“Our visit to Mililani Mauka Veterinary Hospital was a scary one. Our baby of 14 years fell seriously ill the night before. When my husband called, they told us to bring Malia in right away. When we arrived, they took Malia directly to the back to give her a full checkup. Turned out that our babies condition was more serious than expected. We had to come to the decision to put our baby girl to sleep. The doctor was so compassionate and supportive. She walked us through everything that would take place. I couldn't believe that this was happening. Hubby was strong enough for both of us. He held Malia and talked with her until she took her last breath. We just cried together. Even though this was an emotional moment, the staff provided us with exceptional service. Amazing experience showing love and kindness to us when we needed it most. Mahalo!”
