“The staff is so friendly. I brought my dog here for physical therapy. They were gentle and kind with my dog. She is a typical mame shiba. Due to the gentle treatment of the staff, she was very agreeable to the laser treatment and going through the exercises. The staff provided excellent training for me to do pt at home in between appointments. I highly recommend this vet. They are very busy so it is challenging to get into their schedule but well worth any wait.”

“I am the epitome of anxious cat mom and I cannot recommend VCA Waipahu highly enough! Dr. Hester, Linda, Kaylen and the entire team, including the veterinary technicians (I wish I remembered everyone’s name!) and front office staff, have been nothing short of exceptional. Finding a truly cat friendly vet has been such a relief!
We adopted a very sick kitten and also have an older cat who struggles with anxiety and respiratory issues. From our very first visit, Dr. Hester and the staff made us feel secure in that we were getting the best care for our cats. They took the time to listen to all of our concerns and provided tailored care for both of our cats. Our kitties are MUCH better now, but even so Dr Hester and the team are so responsive and understanding for any health concerns we have. They treat not just our kitten, but our anxious older (big and kind of mean) cat with such kindness and understanding. Their ability to handle our shy cats with such care and professionalism is truly commendable.
The staff always makes us feel heard and comfortable, and their dedication to their patients is evident.

“I've been taking my dogs there for the past 8 yrs and loved both Dr Francis and Dr Darren, father and son duo. Dr Francis is ol school and talks to the owner directly, especially during this covid craziness. Dr. Darren will call you and let you know the updates. They are still not allowing owner and their pets in the office and you will have to call the office and they'll come out to get your pet. Their cost still remain affordable when paying cash. I enjoy the supporting staff too.”

“I want to thank Dr Goic and the staff. Unfortunately our dog sustained a life threatening condition. Dr Goic and the staff called us with an update every few hours and she let me and my wife see our girl every time we wanted to while she was in intensive. Dr Goic felt like she cared about our dog and had great bedside manner. Didn’t sugar coat anything and was kind and professional. Me and my wife were having the worst 4 days of our lives and having staff that was warm and comforting helped. Thank you Dr Goic. I do not know the names of rest of the staff that helped to save our dogs life, but I want to thank them too.”
