“Rating the store front and quality of clothes. I was introduced to Kūlua through the Made in Hawaii festival and fell in love with the prints, softness of fabric, and customer service! They're so so kind. I was excited to visit the storefront and was not disappointed. There's lots of parking, the store is open and bright. There's a clearance section, but I love that it appears to also house the patterns for the clothes! When I was shopping, I'm pretty sure the owner was also cutting fabric. So cool to see the clothes being made! I tried on a dress, which the owner pointed out was a little shorter than the others. She offered to make another one if I wanted a longer length. I thought that was such a nice gesture!”

“We recently purchased furniture from Pacific Home Furniture in Maui to furnish our newly built beach home. Since we don’t live on the island, I didn’t want to shop on line but since we can’t travel, there was no other option. Allison was amazing to work with. She asked a lot of questions and listened to my wishes. Her expertise as a designer assisted me in my furniture choices. Pacific Home has an excellent website. It was easy to view the furniture collections.I would highly recommend Pacific Home Furniture Maui and Allison.”

“Value: 3.5 stars Quality: 4 stars Service: 4 stars I have spent a lot of time browsing this store, and my favorite purchases here include: one of my favorite dresses, baby shower presents, and a hilarious hat for my husband. They have jam-packed there store with high quality and well-curated items, ranging from baby outfits and toys to candles and Christmas ornaments. It's a great place to shop for a present if you want to be inspired. One note of caution: while they do stock many local products, it's about 50/50 whether the item you're looking at is designed or made in Hawaii versus from a mainland brand. If you're specifically shopping for something local, you'll need to check the tags to confirm before you buy. Prices here are fair, and sometimes you can snag a great deal on their sale rack, although it often contains damaged items so be sure to check carefully! Tip: no Kama'aina discount here.”
