“If you're a long time bowler (30+yrs) do you remember the place in Kalihi that you would drive up the steep ramp to get your bowling needs taken care of? Well it's not there anymore. It moved in 1991 to Pearl City. Not just Pearl City but Pearl City Industrial Park, which is past Pearl City. When you drive up you'll probably miss it, especially if you go now since they are doing major road construction to install some crazy stuff under the roads. The building itself is a warehouse and doesn't look like much but don't let the outside deter you because once inside you will find the largest selection of bowling balls, bags, shoes, and accessories that didn't even exist 30 years ago, plus cue/billiard supplies. Oh and a full service shop (drill/ repairs etc) Sanford was the guy who helped me get new shoes and a bag and redrill my old ball since I have fat fingers now. He is super knowledgeable and knows his stuff from decades of experience. Although there are a few other pro shops closer to me, I'd drive the extra distance to come back here.”

“Great location. Employees are very kind, had a nice selection of clubs. Had 2 golf simulators for fitting purposes. Value is standard, what I would expect to pay for my golf equipment. Great sales during the holidays always look forward to those”

“Bought my very first piece (TISAS 1911) from them. Picked it up on December 22nd. I’ve been to other shops in the past and while they were all pretty friendly and knowledgeable for the most part, something about these guys completely resonated with me. Being this is my first time, they worked with me and listened to my needs and concerns, making my first experience effortless. I can see why they have so many 5 star reviews! No hype. They are everything everyone says they are!”

“Hawaiian hardball is great. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We’ve been coming here for two years to get gloves for our son. They do steaming for gloves. Depending on brand it’s between free and $10.Only downfall is the parking but we’ve never had an issue parking though.Again, good stock, great staff and they even have batting cages and offer workshops and such.”

“I haven't purchased softball gear in a LONG time. I needed a new bat so I swung by Stan's. Located in Waipio, there was plenty of parking. There was such a large selection to choose from I was so confused but Stan was able to give me some insight as to what was popular based on his customers feedback. I ended up buying a bag too! Definitely recommend coming here for all your baseball/softball needs. Support local! Mahalo Stan!”

“I wanted to donate a public speaking trophy to Kailua High School. They had the exactly what was needed. I was very happy with the price which included the engraving the title of the trophy. Took me 5 minutes to make the purchase. I went back 4 months later to have them add the names of the first semester winners. Imagine my delight when they promised next day service at no charge!”

“They're the best. Small supply, but they have all the things you need. Talk story about fishing spots for a good 15 minutes while at least 2 customers came in to get their watches fixed. I love this place.”

“The service was awesome!! Angel helped me to find the perfect size and type of shoe I needed. He fitted me for the size and told me about my arches. He was very knowledgeable about the shoes and explained to me thoroughly. Got to try on different brands to see what was right for me. It was great actually having someone assist and help you. Not like the other shoe stores they just get the size you ask for and usually don't assist you any further than that. So worth the money!! To actually get the right shoe and more importantly the correct fit. Thank you Angel for all your help!!!”

“Excellent customer service! We found a better Yeti thermos online after purchasing one from their Pearlridge store and called every T&C and found what we wanted at their Windward Mall store. The associate there put on hold what I selected and did a quick exchange with no problems!”

“Walked in to buy a complete set of golf clubs, gentlemen immediately asked me a few questions, then gave me simple options. Purchased a set of Taylor Made Irons, Taylor Made Driver, new golf bag, all for $500, and they took off 35 dollars as a disount. In addition, they gave my seven year old son a set of new golf balls, and a childen's size 7 iron. What a service!”

The gentleman upfront skillfully measured my foot, identified my correct size, and presented a variety of high-quality, reasonably priced shoe options. Their impressive selection, including extra-wide options for runners, addressed my specific needs. I am thoroughly satisfied with the exceptional service, product quality, and affordability. “Located on the right side as you get off the Aiea off-ramp from the H1 freeway. Went there on Sunday and they had a flow of customers with only what looked like a Father & son running the whole store. They were very knowledgeable on the different types of shoes they carrier, they were very helpful and friendly! They also carry a pretty large variety of types of shoes there. Parking available in front of the store. Sorry no pictures this time!”

“What a cool place for cool places...The North Face store is located in Ala Moana Center near Nordstrom is a fantastic place to find gears and outerwear for all things outdoors. All displayed very nicely I still had some issues wondering if which are for men and which are for women as it doesn't seem to be clearly divided.Once I look at the label it's clearly stated men or women and prices are a bit difficult to see as the fonts are tiny so shopping and browsing to a bit more effort for a novice like myself who was looking for some jackets that are warm but not for arctic weather.Yes I can ask any staff where there are many that are super friendly it wasn't the level I was at as I'm just browsing it's just not easy to see as there are my factors of each item and wished they made it easier for you to know what level of warmth, rugged, and for which gender as getting lost is not something we like to face anywhere we go.Thank you!”

“I've been there twice in 10 months. Once in February before they had to close because of Covid and again in November after they reopened. Both times I accompanied friends who were shopping for gifts as well as themselves. The selection of aloha shirts is impressive and the fabric is of nice quality and top notch. If I recall correctly from talking with the owner, the fabric comes from Japan. The shirts are well sewn and I loved the selection of designs. The designs are well thought out and some of them tell a story about Hawaii. The owner is personable and helpful without being overbearing. If you are looking for a stylish aloha shirt this is definitely the place to shop.”

“I was little skeptical about the Phiten tapes and products. I gave it a try anyway as my neck really hurt one day. Amazing! The tapes tremendously reduced the pain level. It was like pain scale 9 went down to scale 3. All store staff were very friendly and generously put the tapes on my body .”

“It's been a while since I've been here, which must mean my mom's wardrobe needs refreshing. Private parking lot, fitting four or five cars. Masks are requires to be worn inside the store. They do not package your items, so bring a reusable shopping bag, preferably not one used for groceries. Food residue could stain your clothing. You could ask if they could wrap your purchase in tissue paper. ‍ Doesn't hurt. While mother peruses through the latest style tunics, cropped pants and Wahiawa themed t-shirts, I check out the goods from local handcrafters. The succulent gifts, Korea themed greeting cards and the wooden cell phone holders caught my eye. Succulents and Tilandsias were so nicely incorporated in a wide variety of vessels with figurines and colored stones or small pebbles atop potting soil making wonderful pieces for an office desk, a coffee table or even a guest bathroom. (We didn't have enough cash and it was pouring too hard to run to 7-eleven ATM, otherwise the teapot would have come home with me!) But now I know where to get these precious gifts, I'll be back. The greeting cards are so well made they could be deemed as professionally produced. Fabric from Korea have been incorporated with paper and traditional Korea charms to create lovely works of art in the form of a greeting card. Extremely reasonably priced at $6/each is a steal. (Again, cash only.) Wooden cellphone holders with animals, Asian characters, a "shaka " hand, among others are very well made and sturdy. My uncle Taka turned 100 last week and the has been his signature sign forever! I purchased one for him. He has a mock orange bush in his front yard in the shape of ! It is the most befitting birthday gift! Despite the dreary weather, it was a very nice trip from town. Now onto the food. See you there!”

“**** UPDATED***Jeff made it all right! He reached out and made sure that I was well taken care of. He was amazing and the customer satisfaction is much better now because he really made sure he did what he could to make it all a better experience.Took a lesson and it was a terrible experience. I told the instructor I had experience in other wind and water sports but she insisted I had to take a three hour lesson when I paid for two and had me Venmo her for the extra hour. Most of the first part of the lesson was her setting up the equipment and repeating lessons about wind I already knew. She made it out that windsurfing skills would not translate which they very much do. She was late, not a great communicator to coordinate, and wasn’t transparent or honest. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.”

“I'm a huge fan of Patagonia as it is, so upon finding out there was a location here in Honolulu, I definitely had to come and check this place out. I was definitely not disappointed. The store itself is pretty big with a wide range of selections from t-shirts, bags, jackets and more. Walking in kind of reminded me of walking into a REI with out big it is and just how things were laid out. The main thing I was looking for here was something you couldn't get anywhere else, and that is their Pataloha stuff that is exclusive to Hawaii. The Pataloha branding that they offered included t-shirts and tote bags (from what I saw). The store was very clean and well organized. The staff was very friendly and made sure I was helped or if I had any questions. Definitely a great place to come check out!”

“My go to Yeti store. Customer service is always awesome. Friendly and helpful staff. If u want close parking it may take a while to get one but if you're willing to walk there are lots of stalls near KFC. I like to browse while waiting for a table at Kunios. Every so often u find a treasure in there something in the right size for a great price. They had such great deals during Christmas it was a one stop shop for my Christmas gifts.”

“They have 3 divided cages for either batting or pitching. You can either coach pitch your player or utilize their pitching machines. Balls and bats are available. There are multiple lessons offered here such as batting, softball pitching and few other newer workouts available. They also have your players printing needs. They can print hoodies, booster shirts, etc... Within the batting cages, there is a store that provides cleats, gloves, sample shirts, etc....all available for purchase. Definitely a one stop shop!”

“Bought my running shoes here & the man who helped me was awesome. He really knows his stuff! I mentioned a few problems that I have while running & he gave me a few shoes to try on. I automatically felt the difference & he gave me some recommendations. They also do a free evaluation for your feet to determine what works best for you. The selection they had were Hokas, Asics, Brooks, Nike, Mizuno & much more. They also carry running apparel from shirts, shorts, leggings, accessories. It can be a bit pricey, but the QUALITY & longevity of these items are so worth it. Will definitely be coming back here.”

“Soccer moms, you'll want to bookmark this business! We started my toddler off young and registered her for soccer at 3 years old. I had a hard time with shoe sizing online as some of the soccer shoes are sized differently than normal shoes. Plus, there were many items on backorder and I wouldn't have received it on time for the soccer season. Hence, my trip to Xtreme Sports Hawaii. Soccer equipment heaven. We were mainly there for shoes. They have a ton in my daughter's size with multiple colors and brands to choose from. I was elated because she wears the smallest shoe size available and they only had a couple of options online. The shoes were name brand, like Adidas, Nike, Puma, etc. and were priced from about $45-$80, which is kind of pricey considering how small they are, but worth it because it saved on shipping costs and they can be tried on before buying. They require socks for trying on shoes and we failed to bring her socks, so we ended up buying a pair to try on the shoes. The employee who helped my daughter get fitted for her shoes was great. He seemed great with kids and he laid out all of her sizes and had her choose which one she wanted. He helped with the laces and overall fitting. Clearly, this wasn't his first rodeo. My daughter, and most of her teammates were swimming in their soccer uniform, since they're at the youngest age group having to settle for the smallest uniforms. They have the smaller jersey shorts available since the ones that usually come with the jersey top are too big for the younger players. They also have other items like backpacks, soccer balls, training equipment (like cones), and a wall full of socks. I'm glad there is a specialty store like this in the area. It will be my go-to for all of our soccer equipment.”

“First time visiting today & I was impressed. It's a small store, but it stocks so much inside. Yes it's a little cramped, but everything is very well organized & it's easy to find whatever you're looking for. HUGE selection of firearms. I've been to much larger stores, even department stores on the mainland, that didn't have half of the selection they have here. In the 20 minutes we spent here, there was a steady stream of customers in & out. I didn't realize this place was that busy! We purchased some Mace, the gel kind with UV dye for $25 a canister. Martha went over every aspect of using pepper spray. She was highly informative & personable. Like the caring auntie who won't steer you wrong & is honest with you. We loved her! There was also a young gentleman working & he greeted everyone who came in, even holding the door for us as we left. We felt welcomed & not intimidated at all. Good place!”

“Nice shop with other brands besides T&C. Pretty good selection they had all the T's. They also has a BOGO for 50% so we were able to cop two hoodies (me and my GF). Got our little souvenirs from Oahu. This shop is located in the mall on the second floor.”

“I came here to buy me new Nike shoes and my daughter some black boots. The boots and my Nike"s were pretty affordable. I signed up for the rewards program. It's easy and fast. Give them your name, email address and phone number to the lady and you get the buy one get one half off. I saw white shoes with a hot pink Nike logo. Cute. My daughter found some black boots. I told her to get them. Good thing they had her size. They were pretty busy today. They had nice shoes but I forgot to get new slippers but I will get those somewhere else. Highly recommend this store for affordable shoes. I would definitely come back. Located inside the mall across from Old Navy.”
