“I was referred to ProAm by a friend of mine a while ago. Finally got around to checking out the shop and let me tell you it’s a 10/10! I went in for a grip change, totally expecting to pick it up the next day but the awesome team there got it done within the time it took me to look at all the inventory they had!

“I would say this is the best used club shop I've ever seen. I wanted to try some long irons which is very hard to find nowadays. This store has plenty old clubs. The 1, 2, 3 irons are $10 each, 4 irons are $15. You have 1 week trial period and can bring back for refund. Iron sets also have 1 week trial, plus a $20 restocking fee - I think it is very reasonable. The lady running the shop (assuming her family owns the shop) is very friendly, reasonable. I got a set of Honma old club and like it. P club was not include, but I later found one single P matching exactly the set. She gave that club to me without extra charge.
The only down side of the store is that there is no room to try anything out in store. So the 1-week trial period goes with it well.”

“I wanted to donate a public speaking trophy to Kailua High School. They had the exactly what was needed. I was very happy with the price which included the engraving the title of the trophy. Took me 5 minutes to make the purchase. I went back 4 months later to have them add the names of the first semester winners. Imagine my delight when they promised next day service at no charge!”

Jeff and Ellie were fantastic. They took the time to help both me and my buddy, explain the differences between the shoes, and talk through race nutrition and what would work best for our training. Ellie was especially patient, bringing out multiple shoes and sizes so I could compare the fit and figure out what felt best.
They had a great selection of shoes, and even though they didn't have the exact size I needed, they offered to check their other location and get me set up.
Overall, the staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and never made us feel rushed. If you're looking for quality running shoes and people who genuinely know their stuff, I highly recommend Runner's HI.”
“I was little skeptical about the Phiten tapes and products. I gave it a try anyway as my neck really hurt one day. Amazing! The tapes tremendously reduced the pain level. It was like pain scale 9 went down to scale 3. All store staff were very friendly and generously put the tapes on my body .”
“I visited 3 local surf shops at Ala Moana Center while vacationing here from SoCal. Customer service and quality selection is the BEST at this shop.
All 3 shops (HIC, Local Motion) were running the same promo: Buy One, Get One 50% off on their private label t-shirts which is an amazing deal considering each shirt priced $28-$30. Their tees are nice quality, soft cotton and fit well. Plus T&C has stunning graphics and they carry a deeper inventory overall.
I was super stoked to discover this shop also carries exclusive Hawaiian design YETI and Hydroflask! All employees were super helpful and friendly; nice relaxed vibe! Shop was busy with tourists and it was refreshing to see this team actively engaging with customers vs. talking amongst themselves. 🤙🏼😎”

Caleb answered all my questions diligently and perfectly addressed my doubts regarding the right size. Since I bought a gift, Caleb presented me with multiple detailed options in case I got the wrong size.

“Had a great experience at Runner's Route. Sydney was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the differences between daily trainers, speed shoes, and race-day shoes, as well as what kind of mileage each shoe is best suited for.
They had a great selection of brands and colorways, and they also offer an excellent military discount, which was a huge plus.
The store is a little smaller, but it's well organized and has everything you need. The customer service and expertise more than make up for the size. Overall, a great running store with friendly, knowledgeable staff. I'd definitely come back.”

“While visiting Waikīkī, I stopped by Patagonia specifically to check out their limited-edition Hawaii logo merchandise.
The store itself was clean, organized, and stocked with a good selection of clothing, accessories, and outdoor gear. My main goal was to find Hawaii-exclusive items, and while I was able to pick up a couple of T-shirts and a tote bag, I was hoping to see more design options in the collection since it’s such a unique and limited offering.
As for customer service, one staff member of Asian descent stood out for being attentive and willing to help. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff seemed largely disengaged and didn’t appear particularly interested in assisting customers. It wasn’t a negative interaction, but there wasn’t much effort made to offer help or answer questions unless approached directly.
Patagonia is definitely on the pricier side, so whether the merchandise feels worth the cost will depend on what you’re looking for. For me, the Hawaii-exclusive items were a fun keepsake from the trip.
Overall, I enjoyed browsing the store and found a few items I was happy to take home. I just wish there had been a larger selection of Hawaii-specific designs and a more consistently attentive customer service experience.”
“I've had a great experience here for the past 15 years. Thomas is very knowledgeable and can help you make decisions about racquets, string types, tension and equipment. As a player, he is able to test equipment and give you expert recommendations to get the most out of your game. He recently recommended a racquet that immediately impacted my play and experience on court. The strings he recommended and the tension was just what I was looking for. I bought a racquet right off the display based on his recommendation. He strung it for me the same day and I played a match with it that afternoon without even hitting with it first. After the first few balls I knew it was a game changer for me. Yes, we won. Funny thing is I wasn't planning on buying a racquet that day. Happy I did. Support Local! Thank you Thomas”
“My go to Yeti store. Customer service is always awesome. Friendly and helpful staff. If u want close parking it may take a while to get one but if you're willing to walk there are lots of stalls near KFC. I like to browse while waiting for a table at Kunios. Every so often u find a treasure in there something in the right size for a great price. They had such great deals during Christmas it was a one stop shop for my Christmas gifts.”
