“The store has uniform items available, tailoring, convenient store, and food court. The staff has always been polite and helpful whwn I have gone there. The tailoring shop is busy a lot of the time so if you need items tailored you'll want to get them in early to make sure you get them back in time for your event.”

“Good store, I'm not sure why they aren't open 24 hrs anymore though. I understand if it's to be more convenient twords staff, but it's very inconvenient twords others looking to make late night purchases when needed. I end up having to go off base in this case. If they were to be open 24/7 again that would be amazing for morale for those stuck on base without a vehicle still living in the barracks like me.”

“I've been eyeing this place for a while, so we finally tried it yesterday, forgot to take a picture. But the lady at the register was nice and answered every question I had about what crack seed was. The shaved ice is one of the best I've had. I think they could use more flavors to choose from. Will go back”

“Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted with a genuine & high spirited smile from Randen. I don't venture in stores as such & was a bit nervous. A friend needed something from Fly Hi. I told him what I was searching for & he immediately led me to a section with the product I was searching for. He recommended a certain product & really was very knowledgeable of the item. He even said a few funny things brightening my day & making me feel comfortable during my visit. He rang me up & wished me a great day. This young gentleman smiled from the time I walked in to the time I departed. Made my day much more tolerable. Thank you Randen. I appreciate employees such as yourself! Much mahalo!”

“Having traveled extensively and experienced luxurious hotels and resorts worldwide, the Hale Koa Hotel holds a special place in my heart as a home away from home for my family and me. Not only are the rooms spacious and comfortable, but the price also provides excellent value, making it an ideal choice for service members and their dependents seeking ease and comfort without the burden of overpriced accommodations in the area. Situated next to the beach, it offers an ideal location for sunbathers and water enthusiasts alike. What truly sets the Hale Koa apart is its unparalleled service. While many establishments prioritize the bottom line, the staff at Hale Koa prioritize individual comfort and satisfaction above all else. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay is evident in every interaction, making guests feel truly valued and cared for.”

“I like getting gas there. Now that it just reopened a few days ago. Not so crowed as the main gas lanes.Right now the Mart is in renovations and implementing new shelving. Half of the store is blocked out. Great location within the residential area to pickup some snacks and drinks. Must have a military ID to purchase.”

Cheap, quick and yummy meal $15. Perfect beach foods. There is also fruits, malasadas and pineapple dole whips. Save your receipts, $100 spend you get a free tote, mug or calendar. “This is a good place to fill up. Area has a coffee truck in the morning until about 1pm. There is also a Dominoes, Subway, convenience store. Lately, the machines haven't had receipt tape, so you have to go inside.Prices on chips are pretty high in comparison to commissary.”

“Hands down one of the best poke places on the island. It's in a grocery store-so don't expect it to be a sit down restaurant, etc. Also, prices are very reasonable compared to other poke places. Definitely stop by/visit if in the area.”

“I remember making my way up to this location for my first time about a year ago to pay my bill. Their office is located on the 17th floor. The waiting room is such a nice and cozy little area, it's decorated with a few old fashioned style gas pumps. I got helped pretty quickly, i forgot her name but she was nice, professional and really helpful in assisting me with all my questions. Tip: If you work or live in the downtown area, save a stamp and drop off your payments here. You'll like how they decorated their waiting area”

“100% ID/sponsor eligibility check. Conveniently located inside the Hale Koa property, it is such a treat to have a store that carries essentials, food, drinks, alcohol, souvenirs, and even clothes. If you forget something on your trip this place becomes your saving grace! The staff is friendly and helpful. Upon my first purchase my kids picked up mac and cheese and the lady who was checking IDs by the self check out line handed us spoons without being asked! I wouldn't have even thought of asking. We've stopped here for morning coffee, afternoon snacks, even hotdogs and fruits! I've also seen patrons purchase additional luggage from here!Thank you for having a PX on site! We appreciate you!”

“Went to a restaurant nearby and stopped in here to get a beer for my wife and one for me for dinner. We walked in and it was slightly cramped but the gentleman behind the counter was directing the other family where to find their request while allowing us through and had what we were looking for.We checked out and after we paid, the nice gentleman dumped a handful of hot wheels and told my kid to grab two and he said he had a couple kids over twenty and his misses having children. My wife tried to give him a few more dollars she had in her wallet and he refused. I am moving away from Oahu soon but this is my new favorite place.”

“My husband (Glenn) always gets his tires from Lex Brodie. He has been going there for years. Junior walked him through the process of the centering rings and type of lugs he needed. He also reminded him to bring the car back in a couple of days to torque the lug nuts. Junior made sure Glenn got his rebate forms to submit to the Rebate Center. Everyone at Lex Brodie is very courteous, professional and always will to help you and answer any questions. Thank you Junior for for expertise and everyone else for always being so helpful. Good Job!!!!!”

“Cheapest gas in Oahu. If you go early before 8 am. or after 6 p.m., there are no lines. Otherwise, it can have long lines. Make sure you try to look ahead to make sure the pump is open. Many times, one pump is out of service. Instead of two pumps, only one is working.”

“Pretty good price for gas if you have a Hele card (maybe you can get one inside?). A good selection of gas store food. There is a coin vac ($1.50 in quarters) but it was really weak. Also there wasn't much water in the windshield squeegee bins. Maybe this is an end of shift thing? The cashier was nice and gave me gas change in quarters so I could try the vac.”

“We've come here literally every day since we began our vacation. These stores are located everywhere on the island! They are convenient and offer a variety of everything from hot food, drinks, souvenirs, personal care, wine/beer to household and travel items. The staff is always extremely friendly and always looks out to provide a great experience. I had a few to many things in my hands today and a staff member brought me a basket. Depending on the location, the store can vary with size and offerings. Save your receipts because you can go back at the end of your visit for free gifts.”

“We only bought batteries here. Most of the staff were nice except for one woman who was a little patronising towards us 'haoles' who wanted to use up the last of our currency before flying out back home. We didn't have enough in coin and I couldn't be bothered putting an additional fridge magnet on card so we left it there.”

“Always great to see a mom and pops shop still in business in Hawai'i.We always come for the boba drinks. The only thing is that they still have some ice cubes in the drink and not fully blended but it's fine with me and wouldn't make me not a deal breaker. The owners are very nice and patient with our decisions.”

“If you have access to get on base this is in Military Housing area, and you will need it to buy stuff. GPS ended away from the store but you will be turning right to be able to see it. It's a smaller version of the NEX in Pearl City. It has stuff you could get at Walmart, Walgreens, or Target. Workers are friendly and helpful when you have a question. Not very busy store and it is away from the busy areas of Ewa Beach. They have different selections to choose from. If you go to the beach and forget something this store is really close by. Very calm area! You can also fill up gas but it is comparable to the NEX Pearl city and Safeway. check the gas app to check.”
