“Had afew great experiences here in he past 3 mos... First one, I came in to get supplies for an at-home oil change. The guy who helped me gave me options for most basic supplies to higher end/higher performance. Really appreciate all he options.
Second: Memorial day my truck wouldn't start and I needed a new battery. It was about 8pm, long after most auto places are closed. I couldn't believe my luck that O'Reilly's was still open. Really saved the day!!
Last, most recent visit I needed my car computer read. After doing the reading and taking to BJ about why my truck wasn't starting correctly, he gave me a few ideas and started me off with the cheapest, most basic solution to get started.

“I needed to replace the bumper and a headlight of my 17-year-old Toyota. I tried six or seven body shops. Several did not return my calls. A couple of shops said they did not repair cars over 10 years old. One had a three-month wait just to do an estimate. I was about to give up, but as a last resort decided to drive to a final shop without a prior appointment to try to get an estimate. To my utter amazement, a friendly person with Cano's not only looked at my car on the spot, but also agreed to repair it, which they did once the parts arrived from Oahu. Highly recommended.”

“This review is long overdue, but I had bodywork done by Todd and his team at M Toguchi and couldn’t have had a better experience. I was initially brought to them because they’re the only shop on the island that accepts Allstate (the insurance of the person who hit me), and I feel very lucky to have crossed paths with their business.
Todd went above and beyond throughout the entire process. He was an excellent communicator via email, phone, and in person, handled everything with Allstate, and made it very clear what I needed to do and when. He turned what could have been a stressful situation into an easy, well-cared-for experience. My car looks good as new, and I’ve had zero issues since the repairs were completed about a year and a half ago.
To give an example of how thoughtful Todd and his team are: they let me know early on that the aftermarket pinstripe on my car would be nearly impossible to recreate unless I returned to the original mainland dealership - and even then, only if the same pinstriper was still there. Todd still went out of his way to call another local business to explore options. When I ultimately decided not to redo the pinstripe and instead asked about removing it from the rest of the car for consistency, Todd and his team removed it free of charge. The result looks incredible - you’d never notice unless I pointed it out.
M Toguchi truly sets the standard for customer service on the island. I hope I don’t need bodywork again anytime soon, but if I do, I won’t hesitate to call them. If I could give 10 stars, I would!”
