It is a favorite place for affordable local food, offering the cheapest and best bang for the buck bentos on Maui. Their ready-to-go bentos include fish, chicken, and beef options like chicken yakitori, teriyaki beef, misoyaki butterfish, and chicken katsu. Their poke, salads, and okazuya items are all really good and made fresh. Customers can buy bentos already made or create their own plate lunch from the case of prepared food. They also sell a wide variety of Japanese products, including groceries, candies, snacks, household goods, cooking utensils, and some fresh produce. While service can be a little slow and the warehouse displays can get messy, the food and choices are fantastic. The employees are the sweetest. It is a great place for a quick stop to grab a cheap, grab-and-go meal.
Went there Saturday and Sunday @930a. Love the Local feeling of this place & the food is great. If you know Bento boxes back in my day,this is the place to get it.
