“Today’s customer service experience deserves a million stars for truly going above and beyond!

I placed a delivery order through the Albertsons app, and the main thing I needed was a whole young chicken for chicken soup. Of course, I ordered a bunch of other things to go along with it, but emphasis on this: I really just needed the chicken. 😅

Everything else arrived except—you guessed it—the chicken!

I checked my order confirmation, and it showed that the chicken had been shopped for, so I assumed the driver may have accidentally left it in the car or that it had rolled under a seat. I called Albertsons to see whether they could contact the driver, since that information is not available through the app.

I spoke with Crystal—I hope I spelled your name correctly—and she explained that the store does not have access to the driver’s information. Even so, she offered to have someone bring me a replacement chicken. She asked how soon I needed it, and I said that within an hour would be wonderful, but whenever they could get it to me would be fine.

I kid you not, less than an hour later, a young gentleman arrived at my door with a brand-new chicken!

He left before I could catch his name or give him a tip, so I plan to stop by tomorrow to personally thank both him and Crystal.
