I drive more than 20 minutes to get to Animal Health Clinic, even though there are several vets just 5 minutes from my home—and that says everything. They are absolutely worth the drive. The staff is caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the health of my pets, and their pricing is very reasonable. I trust them completely and will continue bringing my pets here for years to come.

401 W Collins Rd, BlackfootI’ve never had a bad experience here! My son’s pitbull/Heinz 47 dog had 13 puppies, her first litter. 3 of her teets had contracted the milking teet disease and, got so backed up and, swollen? The farthest THREE, back teets, exploded, literally!! It was about 2:00a.m. and, didn’t know who was open, that we could afford. Not only did the vet, come in from IF, but she stayed up the entire rest of that night, removing and sewing her teets back up. THEN SHE HAS TO BE SPAYED! My son’s dog is alive and healthy, happy and, probably, too chunky. We were able to take over as mom, at , just barely, 6 weeks old. All her pups lived and grew into beasts, even the females are monsters. To top it all off?! They let us make payments on it, cuz it was so sudden and we didn’t have ANY $$. They cared more about my son’s dog’s well being and, getting better, than they were the money! They’ve even helped me with my chickens, she passed despite the help and meds. They care more about their patients… than they do, lining their pockets! Plus, they’ve always had the lowest prices that I’ve known of.

1676 W 700 N, BlackfootLet's start by saying THIS IS A LEGIT REPUTABLE COMPANY!!!! I didn't know that for sure at first because there are so many scam breeders on the internet, buuut I took the chance anyway (I'm a rebel) & they did not disappoint. I chose this company because they just seemed like the best fit after extensive research, and getting the runaround at shelters for months.They are also the ONLY company online that offered a refund for your deposit in the event that you changed your mind, or whatever else changed in your life to where you couldn't get the dog anymore. Given that it's a significant amount of money, I felt reassured.The whole process was amazing and Daniel is very communicative every step of the way. I now have my furbaby and couldn't be happier. I picked him up at the SLC airport. The airport is HUGE! but Daniel gave great instructions to find the meeting place. For layovers, this airport has a dog relief area so you don't need to leave the airport. They also offer a delivery option.Traveling home with my furbaby was so easy - even though I was super nervous. I thought he would bark during the flight home but NOTHING! Nobody even knew I had a dog on the plane. It was amazing!***Travel Tip*** ALWAYS GET ON THE PLANE WHEN THEY SAY (anyone that has a disability or require extra time can board). Airlines allow this and it's great NOT to have to lift your dog over other passengers or maneuver around them. In my experience, the attendants will also put you in a row by yourself if possible when you have a dog....just FYI

Blackfoot Animal Shelter
199 Frontage Rd, BlackfootI was so impressed with the people here. They were really helpful and friendly . I read some bad reviews about this place but I found nothing buy helpful friendly people. I called first and even on the phone, the woman I talked to was very professional and made me feel welcomed. When I got to the shelter the young man who assisted me was the friendliest caring person . He knew I was kinda nervous about leaving these kittens who I have grew pretty fond of but his attitude and nurturing ,caring disposition put all of my concerns to rest . I appreciate him and the other employees I interacted with . Thank you for the jobs you do and the caring way you take care of the animals and people.
