About Dunia Marketplace, A fair trade non-profit gift shop (previously known as Ten Thousand Villages)
Dunia Marketplace, a fair trade non‑profit gift shop (formerly Ten Thousand Villages), offers a curated collection that is interesting and lets visitors read about the countries and artists represented. It is not in a typical shopping destination area but is close to everything downtown, making it worth a side trip. The selection is eclectic, well‑priced, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The new space is laid out well, and visitors can find table runners, carpet runners, pot holders, pillows and many other items. Each visit brings something unusual.
I love this shop! The collection they have curated is interesting and I like reading about the countries and artists represented. It's not in a typical shopping destination area, but it's close to everything downtown and is worth the side trip.

I went in a couple of times. Outside she has I sign that reads something like she helps women in need. I went in to donate a bed. After explain what things I'm donating she helped me find two places near by that helps refugees. She was helpful.

Always worth stopping in. Our third visit to this shop (and to Boise) over the past five years. Usually find something unusual each visit.
