“I went in intending to buy a mattress. I did find the mattress I wanted, then found myself looking at living room furniture. I wavered back and forth between 2 sets. I finally chose the one that would best fit my room. As I waited for these items to be entered into the computer, I noticed a lamp that would look great in the room. They did have a pair, and so I decided to take them, too. So all in all, I got the mattress, the sofa and loveseat and 2 lamps. The staff was very friendly and helpful. “I had an absolutely fantastic experience with the team at HB and give them my highest recommendation! I bought a single (1) chair and was treated like I was buying 100 chairs. They shared their expertise based on what I was looking for, setup several extended demos of different chairs, provided any fabric swatches I requested, quoted me several different configurations, and were extremely patient and understanding with all my questions (and indecision) before finally settling on the chair I wanted.The whole team was fantastic to work with which tells me they have a top notch culture in place. Special shout-out to Heather without whom I would have always had some nagging doubts if I picked out the right chair. Jeff and Mikey were great to work with as well and generously provided their valuable insights. Additionally, the warranty team has done several repairs for me over the years and they have been fantastic to work with as well. For any future office furniture needs they will be our first stop!”
“Bungalow is, without a doubt, the best furniture and home goods store in the valley. They carry top brands you'd expect to see at places like McGee & Co. or Amber Interiors, but with the advantage of being able to view everything in person while supporting a local business!
We've been loyal customers for over a year and recently faced an issue with our couch due to a manufacturer error. Bungalow’s customer service was outstanding—quick, responsive, and effective in getting our couch replaced. We can’t recommend this store enough!”

“In 2017 we purchased a IMPACT Fire Table which we have been very happy with. It is located outdoors on our patio and has weathered very well, in fact it still looks like new. It is heavy so we had wheels installed so it would be easier to move. We would highly recommend having the wheels. We also bought a cover for it to provide protection when the patio is not being used.”
“Quality furniture and great staff. I have purchased a number of furnishings from this store and it's pretty much our furnishings go to at this point. Previously, we've shopped at RC Willey, Ashley, etc. We found that particularly when it comes to living room furnishings, Scandinavian Designs is by far the best. The other stores kind of all had similar style, medium quality furniture. We really like the furniture quality, and also the customer service of Scandinavian Designs. The sales people (esse (sp?)) are there to help, but not really breathing down your neck at every turn, which is appreciated - they have figured out pretty well how to be available, but not over bearing.”
“Went in to purchase a Stickley Arlington love seat to match the couch we purchased in 2023. Was crushed to hear they discontinued the Villa Boot leather. Thought that was that but Bren called warehouses and finally Stickley and discovered they have enough leather in stock to make me a loveseat! She was meticulous in checking my prior purchase invoice to make sure the pieces would match. Now we wait ?. Bren for the win!!!”

The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would not want to try and complete my projects without the aid of their services!”

“This place has deep roots in Boise and offers a wonderful series of benefits to anyone who understands that price isn't a substitute for value.Founded in the 1950's and remaining in the family since then. The current owner brings the option of buying furniture outright if you're needing to handle Estate items or you're looking to upgrade.Purchasing could never be so convenient. Remember to bring your receipt so you can pick up your merchandise. They have to protect their customers. But buying is very easy you even have a wonderful option of layaway!I can tell you, if I was looking for a couch and a comfortable recliner. I wouldn't go anywhere else there's so many different options.There is ample parking and plenty of other furniture items as well as TVs for sale. The inventory has a lot of variety but again if you want value of an incredibly reasonable price?Then I think you need work done further. It only takes a couple of minutes to see why they been around since the 1950s in the probably be around through the 2050's”
“Who doesn't love Target! They have lots of great items this one is nice as the other one in Boise feels crowded most of the time. I can usually pop in for a few items and get what I need nice and quickly!”
“Very good selection. Pricing is geared more toward folks with poorer credit, except they seem competitive in furniture pricing. I did not price shop to compare, just my limited experience in furniture shopping. I was surprised to see they had power tools and gaming systems (Xbox X, Ps5, Switch).There's a cost associated with the lease to own option, so be prepared to pay more than an item is worth, even of you pay cash. They explained thar many items they sell, they pay retail prices on so if they didn't charge more, they would lose money. The difference is they show you that pricing up front (doesn't seem much different from putting furniture on your credit card and paying interest, but here you know those numbers up front).The staff are pretty friendly and knowledgeable and the main manager is sincere and honest. I didn't opt to utilize their services because I do not require them, but I'm glad they are here for people who DO need their services.”

“I just wanted to share a great experience I had with an employee. I didn’t catch her name but hopefully, someone knows who I am talking about. I was there this past Sunday 4/29 around noon. I was about to check out and was talking to my husband saying I hate seeing something I like on a mannequin but can’t find it on the racks. An employee overheard the conversation and asked if she could help. I gladly took her up on that offer. She helped me locate the item and even find my size. I ended up really loving this item after trying it on. Maybe my favorite Target piece of clothing I have. She went above and beyond to help me. We made an additional purchase because of her and I left happy. ? Please reward this employee if you know who she is. I believe she had a pixie haircut and wore glasses.”
“I rarely leave reviews, but needed to share a positive experience. A lot of these reviews are regarding shipping and I have had my fair share of delayed shipping at pottery barn. However, the last two times I have had issues I’ve gone into the Boise store and the ladies working were awesome in figuring out what was the cause of the delay and resolved the problem. Most recently, I believe her name was Terry, was helpful in figuring out status of furniture order. Order status said it wouldn’t be delivered until July (I ordered in May). However, I received a call this morning and my furniture will be here Thursday. Don’t call customer service, if you have an issue and you live in Boise, these ladies are so helpful! Far better than customer service. Always a pleasant shopping experience at this store.”
