But, again, office staff guided me through this new experience and, therefore, I’m qualified to get the discount! So thankful office staff!
New problem: got almost everything in the unit (planned a second trip back to Stor-it to finish storing what I needed to store), locked the unit. The problem: the lock dial is facing the storage unit door! How am I supposed to get the unit reopened? Surely, Stor-it has seen this predicament before and would again be so kind and help me with this problem.”
“We were with Cost Less for almost 16 years. Never met the owner but Julie and Hal were great managers. They always treated us fairly and kept a good eye on our rig for any anomalies I.e. flat tire, torn and blown away RV cover,etc. and always enjoyed the doggie love from all their pups. “The best in the treasure valley, plain and simple.
I stored with them for 2 years, they never raised my rent once. They undercut Public Storage by $90/month for a bigger unit and stayed there.
Storing items at Idaho Storage Connection Franklin is more secure than storing them in your bedroom. You have to badge in AND out (the same number of times, once for each vehicle, both ways) because each unit has its own alarm system. Badging in disables it, badging out arms it. Cameras are all over and the alleyways are clear of obstructions. Most of all: Managers live on-site. Even if some yahoo jumps the fence and cuts the lock on your unit in the middle of the night, the alarm will trip, the cops will get called, and the managers will be waiting to roll out the red carpet for them when they arrive. Other similarly-priced facilities are lucky to have their cameras running, not to mention making people badge into the facility at all.
Is YOUR home this secure when you go on vacation for two weeks?
The best part of the deal is that you get all this with the customer service of a locally owned business. I went into the office maybe 3 times in the 2 years I stored with them, and the managers never forgot my name. I was valuable to them.
I only left because I didn't have a need for a unit anywhere anymore, but if I eventually need another, I'll be on a waiting list for one of these again. If there's availability, do it. You'll be one of the lucky few.”
