This is a small office that gives a family run veterinary practice vibe in the best way. I’ve been to many vet clinics around town and some are so corporate feeling that they lose the personalized service. While some are so small it’s difficult to get in to be seen when you have problems. This is just right. The front desk staff are warm and friendly and the techs are knowledgeable and compassionate.
My pup has had several issues and they’ve been very helpful and quickly responsive, especially with filling medications. Glad to have this vet office near us in Boise.”
“Wife sent me a picture of my cockatiel bleeding a lot. Called Ada animal and I was in within two hours. Turns out she pulled a blood feather. They took great care of my little girl. $80.00 for an emergency visit, Amazing!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Ewing Animal Hospital. We have utilized services by both Dr. Wethered & Dr. Lieske for various reasons across the years (annual check-ups, spays, tumor removal, blood panels, kidney failure, multiple day hospitalizations, etc.). There is no such thing as a dumb question and I have never felt like I was rushed through an appointment or like communication was lacking like some other reviews state. They do a really great job at trying to accommodate any of your scheduling needs. Both vets also work out of another location so if their schedule at Ewing does not fit your availability or needs, they do a great job at coordinating with the other location to ensure your pet is able to be seen. The staff ranging from their awesome veterinarians, vet techs to their front reception team show that they actually care which really helps during those spooky hospital stays because you can trust that your pet is in good hands (and receives love and attention during their stay). That portion was HUGE for me. I knew my pets were not just hanging out alone in their kennel. Visits were allowed and each staff member we came in contact with had a million things to say and chatted about the time they were spending with them. I could not recommend them enough.”
“The Pet Doctor is the best!!! They have been so good with each one of my dogs and have treated them with a lot of love and care. I have been taking my two Rottweilers to them for years now and have never had anything happen with the visits that was concerning. I recently got a third Rottweiler in December and they are treating him with just as much love and care as the other two. It has taken me a long time to find a vet who was comfortable and confident around Rottweilers. Some would immediately put a muzzle on them at the beginning of the appointment, which was not helpful. All three of my dogs absolutely LOVE going to the vet and there's no anxiety, aggression or fear from them. Going to the vet is a treat! I know this is because of how all the staff at The Pet Doctor treat my dogs each and every time. This makes me as the owner feel very relieved and grateful. Would totally recommend Dr. Zahller and her whole staff to anyone who's looking for a new vet with a knowledgeable & personal touch!”

“Thank you to Companions Animal Hospital, Dr Powell and all their caring and compassionate staff. I took our new Old English Bulldog puppy in a few months ago to establish care. 2.5 months later he became sick with gastrointestinal problems. Seemed like he would have the problems at home…diarrhea, lethargy, etc…. He would get to the Vet and would seem better. Over a period of time with their patience and fortitude the issue was found and he is on the mend. I am so grateful that they didn’t give up and that all their time and tests were affordable. I was kept informed and they were very patient with me and my multiple phone calls as I was nervous. I would definitely recommend Companions to anyone who loves their pet as if they are a member of the family. They are amazing.”
“I want to express my sincere and heart felt gratitude. Bench animal hospital is amazing. We had tried to get our little one in with our normal vet and unfortunately had to wait to be able to get her an appointment. My husband and I had tried everything we could to help our little Haru. Her condition kept worsening and I knew we couldn’t wait for the scheduled appointment. I called the Bench Animal Hospital in a panic and even though they were slammed, it was last minute and nearing end of day, they were able to get Haru in and make her a priority. Our little senior cat wasn’t able to pull through but I will forever be thankful for the kindness and care that was shown to her in her final moments. My heart is broken at the loss but I needed to express my appreciation for this wonderful animal hospital and their outstanding staff.”

“My dog has been seeing the incredible vets at Vista Animal Hospital for nearly 10 years now. We have bounce around from Boise to Meridian to Boise again but her vet has been consistent. She loves every vet she’s seen from Dr. Bev, Dr. Schulz, and Dr. Wright. Each has their own approach but the values are the same and each visit is met with compassion and kindness.
This last visit my dog needed a tooth removed. Let me tell you … I was terrified because of anesthesia. (My dog is okay!) Dr. Wright walked me through everything and was patient as I asked her to repeat herself. The techs were kind and helpful when explaining pre and post surgery procedures. After the surgery, Dr. Wright also walked me through the x-rays taken and helped me understand the next stage of my dogs life. I was so thankful for the entire team I almost cried. I am not sure I would have the same experience anywhere else.
If you’re looking for a vet, I highly recommend Vista Animal Hospital. They provide the absolute best care. They are affordable. They are local. They are the most compassionate and thorough vets every dog deserves.”
“Recently visited Eastgate Pet Clinic for annual wellness check up and vaccines update. We have a pitbull who's very energetic yet rather aggressive toward strangers, but they handled our dog professionally in very friendly manner. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and the cost was reasonable.”

“Dr Chad Hunt has been caring for our English Bulldog since birth. He has been great to have as our vet. Recently our dog had TPLO surgery done by Dr Hunt, (torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament (ACL in humans). Dr. Hunt was very professional, and detailed and explained the whole process before and after. The outcome was excellent. He provided detailed information on how to care for our dog for the first 6 weeks, along with quickly answering any questions we had about his surgery during that 6 week time. His polite, calming personality, and knowledge and expertise has been displayed at every visit.”
“Dr. Frost and his team are AMAZING! I have a 14-year-old Aussie mix who has always been scared of the vet. In the past, our old vets would muzzle him and restrain him, which led him to get more scared and reactive. However, with Dr. Frost, my dog is comfortable, curious, and calm. He and his team are so patient, gentle, and meet your dog where they’re at, rather than forcing them into a situation they’re not comfortable with. I wish I’d found him years ago and can’t recommend him enough. You can tell he and his team genuinely care about animals and the work they do. Thank you!”

“I visited The Boise Cat Clinic today for the first time and will never go anywhere else! Dr O'Brien and the entire staff were kind, attentive and super knowledgeable. I chose them because they only accept cats and since a trip to the vet is already traumatic, to add dogs into the mix would have made it more so. I also love that I was sent an estimate before my appointment so there were no surprises. I highly recommend this clinic to any cat lover!”

“I have used Northwest Anima Hospital for both vet services a boarding and have been extremely happy with them. They play an important role in keeping our 6 year old boy Dax happy and healthy.
Dax absolutely loves Dr. Keller which is who he primarily sees. She is wonderful with him and so caring and knowledgeable.
He has seen Dr. Weathered on occasion when Dr. Keller is out and he also has been wonderful and extremely knowledgeable.
The office staff is wonderful and being able to board where he receives care is a absolute plus.”

“The cat doctor did an amazing job taking care of my kitty and saving her life. We did not have to wait no questions they new what needed to be done. Have her on 2 medications.
