“My first experience was with Iva, the manager. She called me after I booked my appointment online, she was amazing, and kind, trying to find out exactly what I wanted. I then, came to the salon where I met with Morgan. She was running behind, but she was so worth the wait! She took her time, and did an amazing job being I gave her so little to work with as far as what I wanted! The salon was closing, and I loved that another worker, I believe her name was Maggie, offered to help finish up! I had two stylists blow drying my hair!! Everyone I encountered was extremely kind! Thank you Morgan for such a wonderful experience, all the laughs, your attention to detail! I love my new hair! You definitely gained a lifetime customer!!”

“I know this from having working at Costco — Costco barely marks of their prices in order to offer the best deals. For instance, the markup on bananas is only 5 cents! So how do they earn revenue? Well, they make most of their revenue from memberships, which start at $60. I live by myself and even though I do not buy a lot of food in bulk, even the $120 membership more than pays for itself because of how much I save with their amazing deals.I noticed that this location, compared to the Nampa Costco, likely has a wealthier target audience. (Yes, items may vary from store to store and online. For instance, this location has a wider range of beauty/skin care products which are luxury items. By the way, I also shopped around for many skin care products, including via the internet, and by a landslide they had the best prices/deals.Here are a couple of other tips:* An asterisk on the price means that they are discontinuing that item; however, sometimes it is just seasonally.* If the price ends with a “7”, that is their clearance price.* All of their bakery items can be frozen, which is wonderful, for example, when you live alone and may not want to eat 12 croissants in a short period of time. I freeze them in packs of two and space them out.* They have a great credit card; however, one of its best features, the extended two year warranty, recently ended. ? We all need to contact Citibank and maybe even Costco, and make our voices heard in attempt to get them to restore this VALUABLE feature.* They take cash, check, all debit cards, but for credit, only Visa. Most, if not all, locations have an ATM.* You don’t need a membership to use the pharmacy and in many cases, save money!* Their food court, now to members only, offers a hot dog & fountain drink for only $1.20. Because some locations have self-service ordering and payment, you will need a Visa credit card or any debit card.* They take back most things, (see the store or website for exact exclusions, but certain electronics have a 90 day time limit), for any reason without time limit; however, I highly suggest that you not abuse that privilege.* Many, if not all, of their Kirkland brand supplements are 3rd party tested! This is a huge deal because the Food & Drug Administration does not regulate supplements”

“This was a very pleasant experience, a employee by the name of Dan Jackson was a very helpful very attentive employee, he helped me through the process, and if it hadn't been for him I might've left the store without buying anything, but because he was such a help and so good at what he did I was able to get a suit that fitted me perfectly right off the rack. He was helpful helping me understand the deals and the discounts and was extremely thorough. Super pleasant experience. This is in contrast to something like Costco where you often have to wait for a few cars to fill up.The added plus to Fred Meyer over something like Costco is that you can pick up really convenient and necessary items while you pump gas such as car fluids or firewood or a snack and a drink.”

It also doesn't help that some salespeople at higher end places are too pushy and the prices too high. My fiance and I stopped by here on a whim and after we bought some skyr and fruit and I worked with Lucas. We tried a few on but nothing was looking/feeling right for me then he suggested the one I went with. We had to check and see if the size I needed was available. The system was down so he took down my name and number and he gave me a call to tell me yes it could be ordered in my size. I asked Lucas when he was working next to make sure he got commission. Went in today and Lucas wasn't there but the manager Josh made sure Lucas got credit for the sale and we had some laughs a good conversation while we waited for the computer to print everything out. I can tell the people working this department are well taken care of and I hope upper management recognizes Josh and Lucas for their enthusiasm and hard work. Also, a ring and some groceries and still cheaper than shopping at Albertsons.”

I spotted an illustrious (what I have named) “Phteven Cake” and promptly fell apart laughing with my daughter (see pic) upon closer inspection. I think perhaps they are training new bakers but whomever made this masterpiece should be on Netflix’s The Next Best Dessert show. Not only is the color true to form but the size and shape of the teeth : perfection. I can barely tell the difference between the cake and the real deal! I can’t understand why this cake was on sale. $12.41?? Such a steal! Far better than the baroque styled raspberry monstrosity melting beside it.
