“I boarded my two dogs for 7 days. We ended up having some travel complications and needed to leave them there longer. At the time, we didn't know how much longer. We were reassured that they would care for them as long as needed. We received almost daily emails with photos of the dogs and when we returned it was very obvious that our one dog prone to separation anxiety was comfortable and happy. Will be using again for sure.”

All the office staff came running out and helped distract our Josie enough that she came running back out of the street. We are so grateful to all of them.”

“My 20 year-old cat pinky got a really bad tooth abscess and they were very quick to get her in to dental surgery to get them extracted. We were concerned she wouldn’t wake up from anesthesia because she’s so old, but the doctors pumped her up with fluids the night before and the day of I took really good care of her. They all asked me how pinky is when I come in I know her by name. I really like them.”

“Our dogs got into a lunch bag and ate some grapes, of course often hours so off to Viking we went. They were able to induce vomiting and determine which dog was the culprit. They were able to intervene to minimize any effect to her kidneys. We were able to follow up with her regular vet and made sure she won’t need any additional treatment. Jaimie was so patient with both dogs, especially my super anxious and cooperative little mini poodle. All the staff were great. Costs were actually very reasonable. It’s definitely not an experience I want to repeat, but I would 100% recommend them when your pet has an emergency need.”

“My young cat had hip surgery here earlier this year, and we were incredibly worried about the cost and everything that came with it. The price was very reasonable, and her surgery went smoothly. I really appreciated that I never felt like they were adding unnecessary costs or trying to get as much money as possible. It felt like they genuinely cared about my cat and her well-being, not just a paycheck. My cat Sumi is doing so great now, and we are so, so grateful for the care she received! “We had an emergency with our bulldog on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago and not only was Shelley veterinary hospital not our pups regular vet, but Dr. Meissner and her staff were more than willing to help us when we needed them most. They got her all taken care of and our emergency was also a blessing. We have taken our English Bulldog all over Idaho Falls for numerous issues that we just can’t seem to get resolved, but after the information that Dr. Meissner provided and even prescribed our dog a new allergy medication, our pup is doing so much better… I’m so thankful that SVH was open on that Saturday.”
