“Bo's is the best, they carry all the things for my old house, that other stores don't carry. My dad and I searched every store for a part for our tub , but only bo's had exactly what we needed. Thank you.”

“The service counter an gray haired gentleman, was very helpful, they cut and threaded a 10ft 2” pipe for only $5 /cut. Pipecutter cost $$$$Other places wouldn’t help me!They are a bit pricey for furnace filters.Everyone was friendly enough.I would recommend to others!”

“Love this Big Box hardware store. It may be a major chain, but the customer service is on par with a small town hardware store. Oh, wait it is a small town hardware store, that just happens to be a major chain. Moving to the Alton area from the big city of STL, the first thing I noticed on entering this Home Depot was the cleanliness. The HD close to my home was always kinda grungy and unkept. This one is kept fairly clean and well organized. The next thing that surprised me was the customer service. The associates here, actually approach you and ask if you need assistance. They don't avoid eye contact when you meet them in an aisle. The ones who have assisted me thus far have been knowledgeable in their given area. A new feature that I've learned to take advantage of at this location, is ordering items on line that are available at this location and having them shipped to the customer service counter for pick-up. Damn, this makes life so much easier. In the city, I was not a fan of HD, but this one is winning me over. When: Multiple visits within the last 6 months. Why: Bought a new house”

“The employees here are wonderful! In particular Shawn/Sean (sorry wasn't sure which one) is INCREDIBLE. This store didn't carry the part I needed. So even though he didnt make a sale, he gave me all the information I needed to find it. I could not appreciate him more if I tried. I will definitely recommend them to EVERYONE!!”

“Clean store with everything i needed for my home project. I like that they keep remnants of wood and carpet as well as small cuts of drywall for patching repair. Knowledgeable workers were happy to help us find what we needed”

“Caleb in the Garden Department deserves a big shout-out! He went above and beyond to help me with my needs today! If only all customer service associates were as pleasant to encounter.”

“Since moving to the Alton area, this Lowes has been my go to for Big Box hardware stores. I also shop a small local family owned hardware store, but sometimes the BBH has the better selection and prices on certain items. Some of my go to areas are; lighting, cleaning supplies, gardening tools and of course the nursery. It is also, my go to for my furnace filters. I have shopped many places for my filters and have even looked on-line and Lowe's has the best price. The customer service has never disappointed me. While shopping, I am always able to find an associate to assist me when needed. They offer self check-out, but I always use those that are staffed by a human and the associate is always courteous. Also, it is easier to get my senior discount. Another big plus, they give veterans a discount. I like that, I think our service men and women deserve it.”
