“Famous footwear is one of the last remaining stores in Alton Square Mall. Their motto is So many shoes, so little time. They have reasonable prices on shoes for men, women, children. They also have back packs and clearance items.”
“The associates were pleasant and friendly and tried to be helpful but their limited product knowledge didn't seal the deal. Looking for sport specific products is one reason to go to a specialty store and not Target or Walmart. One would hope associates would be able to differentiate a walking shoe from a court shoe, or a running shoe from a casual shoe for example. That was not the case on my last visit. The product the associate identified as a running shoe was not recommended by the manufacturer for running at all. Product knowledge pertaining to manufacturers' specifics is the expertise customers are looking for and relying upon and is what would set your specialty store apart from the discount stores. If you want to improve your customer service, maybe more focus is needed in the forementioned knowledge base.”
“Absolutely amazing service! I wasn’t sure what size I was and he sized me and I found out I was wearing shoes 2 sizes too big, shame on me for forgetting to ask his name but a kind black man with braces helped me. He also showed me how to keep my af1s clean. Thank you so much again!”
