“What a gem of a spot. None of the other BBQ places come close, even within a large vicinity, though their smokehouse menu is only available on weekends.
Came here looking for lunch after learning they sell more than just raw meat. The smoked brisket is akin to the pastrami from Katz’s in NY. There are other Hispanic food available too (chicken tamales was fantastic), and the store is incredibly clean with a huge selection of everything you need for BBQ at home. Nice amount of seats for dining in if desired. Customer service and quality are impeccable - this is a stellar representation of what a solid American business should be. You have a new raving fan who will be back to try more!”
“Shout out to Erica working today- I had 2 little kids with their own carts and my cart and lots of items. She stepped over and offered to ring us up so I didn't have to feel guilty for the poor person who got stuck with us and all our carts- she was very kind and engaged with my kids so nicely. Anyways, after a stressful busy Saturday, she made my experience end well. We always love this store!”

“By far one of the best ALDI locations I’ve been to! I’ve shopped at quite a few, and this one really stood out. The selection was excellent, with more variety and options than I’m used to seeing at other locations. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and organized, which made it easy to find what I needed and actually enjoyable to browse.
The store felt well maintained and thoughtfully arranged rather than picked over or cluttered. I was genuinely impressed and will definitely choose this location again. If you like ALDI but sometimes wish there were more options to choose from, this one is absolutely worth visiting!”
“I really do like this location the best, its got nice workers and a pretty cleanly store. As I've learned aldi can be hit or miss on products being in stock and its totally normal due to recalls or what not but always love the quality and prices. (Update) Aldi has raised their prices a bit and you do get less product than what you used to get. Damn inflation...”

The products are always clean and well organized, and the prices are very reasonable and clearly marked, unlike many other stores in the area. I’ve seen other places with very high prices and even expired items, so finding Royal close to my home was a great surprise. There are two Jewel Osco Food Stores in Lake Zurich less than a mile from each other. This one on Ela Rd & Hwy 22 has been there for a long time and is my very favorite.
