“We had a nice shopping experience here. My son was looking for cologne for himself and a wee bit shy. The staff stopped in to see if he needed help and they answered his questions and gave him space toske his own selection without pushing him to make a rash decision.”

“Big Lots in Fondulac Plaza East Peoria has the best staff. Customer service is great. They will talk to you on by phone and check for inventory in the furniture/tv section. Their food section has many international selections, more than local grocery stores. The store is always clean and organized . Overall 10 out of 10.”
“I stopped in Khols today and found two cozy warm sweaters for my 98yr old mom. I also saw a big selection of pots and pans. I will be dragging my husband back there to help on deciding which set is best for us. Lots of employees working. Check- out line was super quick. The store is filled with lots of new merchandise. A must stop for you this holiday season.”

“I believe it was Chip’s first day at this Marshalls location, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly welcoming, even while handling a long line completely on his own. He was super calm and conversational despite such a busy time of day.”
“Good selection of clothes but honestly need to organize the tools in a better way. But they have an amazing selection of tools, clothes, farm supplies, and other stuff for you're truck, farm, or business.”
“The selection's kind of limited right now because they're going through a remodel. That being said there are some killer deals on clearance items right now. As I'm writing this, October of 2023 they had select clothing and tools that were around 90% off retail.”
“This location is one of the best for finding cheap products and they have steals that you wouldn’t expect to find. A generally clean location but sometimes the wait lines are insane when they’re super busy. This is a frequent location that we shop at.”
“Always a pleasure shopping at Target, where their clothing actually fits me, their product lines are of good quality, and stores are not cacophononous vulture caverns like a certain other retailer I might know (cough Walmart! cough).
It did appear as though a wild boar had ransacked the jeans on my last visit, but I was still able to find a couple pair that will fit me like a tender glove of warmth. Like hugs from a girl you can't quite commit to, a good fit is important to me, and Target, you fit me.”
“It's been quite a while since I've visited this Dollar Tree, the lights in here used to be so dim that it really messed with my eyes to walk around the store, to be honest with you I avoided it just because of that. So I stopped in here the other day after visiting Hobby Lobby and noticed that they had remodeled the store with all brand new lighting and rearranged it, which made my shopping experience much more positive! Thank you for doing the upgrade, I'll be looking forward to my future shopping experiences here.”
“My family has a long standing relationship with JC Penney Photo Studio. We have been taking our family pictures here for over 30 years. Sunday, September 14, 2025 we again came to your studio for family pictures and then my daughter had pictures of her family taken separately. Grace was our photographer. Grace was profesisonal, courteous, knowledgeable and wonderful with the kids. Well let's face it ... she was wonderful with me too!
Grace did all the things you want during the photo's -- she kept her eye on all of our hair, our necklaces, our hands (which is so important when you get your pictures back). She laughed with us and worked her charm on my 10 year old grandson who was definitely NOT into it and made it an enjoyable experience for all of us.
She knew her products and sold us on several side items when making our selections. Many only reach out to management when unhappy but I believe in advising management when you have a solid engaging employee as well.

“My favorite thing about this Sam's Club is that you can get fresh squeezed orange juice, something I can't find at other locations no matter how hard I look! I am pretty sure it is made in store and it's always so sweet and very addicting. Great selection of products, convenient location in town, and love the four berry sundae at the food court. Not a bad place to get tires either. I just wish this location had a gas station attached like other places to get the most out of our membership!”
“I really like the Big Hollow Target. Compared to other stores, it is clean will alert and a pleasure to shop in. The carts are noiseless as they are pushed along the aisles. The employees are generally pleasant and actually make eye contact and smile. The one drawback for me is that target is not a Will start to grocery store. They have all kinds of housewares, tableware, kitchen appliances, electronics and more. However, I am often unable to find things in the grocery section such as canned mushrooms, and certain fresh fruits and vegetables. Therefore I am forced to go to another store to get groceries. Kroger's for insurance, has a much better selection of course, and their food items are significantly less expensive. I also go to target for their pharmacy. I really like the people at the pharmacy. They smile and are thoughtful, and one gal there actually knows me by name.”
“We were shopping for a solid side utility trailer. I called ahead to make sure they had one in stock. I spoke to Josh and he was a great help. Said they'd get it all ready to go for us. Told me to be sure to bring a couple of checks, because (in Illinois) we could pay for the trailer with cash or credit, we had to pay the tax & title individually by check. Really appreciated the heads up! Great experience!”

“This Walmart is convenient for Illinois Peorians who use the city transit system. It is very easy to get to the transit center if you are located near a bus stop. It takes all of 10 minutes maybe to get from the transit center to the East Peoria Walmart. It is fairly safe. Bus runs every hour or 30 minutes during busy times. Not a huge Walmart but it has all the basics. Nice and clean and there is a restroom conveniently located up front. The delivery service has always been reliable, but they do run out of popular items quickly, like water. But there are always options for water. Self check is quickest but they do have full service registers.”
