“Fantastic service and selection. I needed running shoes but didn't know where to begin, as I haven't run in ages. A friend we were visiting recommended RC Outfitters. Oh mercy, the huge wall of shoes was intimidating. Fortunately, the staff there is wonderful. Jason was extremely helpful and kind, and knows his shows. He brought out several options that fit my wide toe bed and and worked with my gait, which he'd measured with their fancy machine. The options he brought were all good and it was easy to settle on the one that felt the best. Jason kindly offered to bring out all of its available colors in that same style, but I was happy with the robin's egg blue pair he'd originally served up. I'm extremely happy with the shoes. They're comfortable and stable, even on wonky pavement. When these wear out, I'll schedule another trip to Peoria to replace them.”
“Great selection from mid range to high end

Great knowledge. Will be back for sure !!!!”
“I stopped by UNDERDOG Sports today and was honestly really impressed with the selection they have! They carry a huge variety of items, you're more than likely going to find what you’re looking for.
The prices are very reasonable too, especially for a used sports store, which makes it even better if you’re trying to save some money while still getting quality gear. Everything was easy to browse, and there’s just so much in stock that it’s worth taking your time to look around.
A friend of mine went here the other day and she said that they support the local Boys and Girls Club. When she got there she didn't realize that they were closed so when she walked in and the guy said they were closed but if she knew what she was looking for that they would go ahead and let her shop. She just needed some football cleats for her son and he took her straight back there so her son could try them on. He was super sweet and patient and let her get what they needed and checked them out and then once they were done they locked up. That sounds like some great customer service to me!
Even without a one-on-one interaction, the overall experience was great. If you’re in need of sports equipment or just want to check out a place with tons of options at affordable prices, this is definitely a spot to stop into!”
“Illini Golf Headquarters in Peoria, Illinois, provides a vital physical sanctuary for former professional golfers navigating the transition away from the tour due to severe knee injuries. The store serves as a supportive local clubhouse, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a deep sense of camaraderie that digital retailers simply cannot replicate. For a sidelined athlete, entering this physical space boosts morale and fulfills the social aspect of the game, making it far more than a standard retail store.Furthermore, the facility delivers critical technical advantages through its hands-on staff expertise, extensive on-site inventory, and state-of-the-art simulator bays. The friendly team provides real-time, personalized equipment consultations, allowing injured players to physically test different shafts, grips, and club weights to minimize joint stress. Testing top-tier gear within the safe, flat, climate-controlled simulator environment allows golfers to analyze data and adjust their swing mechanics safely without the unpredictable physical strain of an outdoor course.”
“Amazing! I bring my kids here all the time for events and hockey games. Every hockey game is usually packed with great people and quite a few fights from the hockey players. I took my kids there tonight and the players were brutal and we won five to one in an amazing game with quite a few fights and three takedowns back to back to back. Great job Peoria Riverman!”
“I appreciate their honesty! I had a screw in my tire and Farm and Fleet in Bradley, IL told me I had to buy 2 new tires costing over $600 instead of plugging it. Once I got back home and took it here. They were able to plug it with no issues. $23 and out the door in less than 30 minutes. So so grateful for their honesty!”
“This store dis not disappoint! All of the staff is super friendly and the store is very very clean and well organized! To the gentleman that assisted me in my smoker choice today you are a top notch gentleman! Very knowledgeable and kind! I cannot wait to bring my family here for the bowling alley!”
“We went to Bushwhacker yesterday to get my son a bigger bike. The one he tried initially seemed to be too big but just by a bit. Daniel took the time to show us how the bike could be adjusted to be a better fit for him. I also loved that he took the time to ask my 6 year old how things were feeling as he made the adjustments. By the time he was done the bike was a perfect fit.”
“Quality store with just about anything gun related you need. Large selection with good prices. Neat old stuff, cool military gear. Reloading. Knives. You name it.”
“Dunham’s had the shoes I saw in ad and checkout with coupon was short and sweet . Lady at register was helpful ad very nice . Appearance of store was spotless . Thank you Dunham’s ! D.S.”
“Jan is a great person to get gear advice from. Doing my Advanced with John was a pleasure. One of the best dive shops I have come across. Their pricing is more reasonable than most dive shops I’ve gone to, but the training is still top notch.”
“I recently got a pair of huraches for my sister for her birthday and I got the same and some timberland boots but had to return the shoes bcus I forgot they run small”
“We purchased a log splitter from Tractor Supply in East Peoria, IL. Lauren and her staff was very nice, professional and knowledgeable about there products. Unlike most stores today they went out of there way to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Definitely 5 stars for this store.”
“I've only bought 2 clear bookbags from here, but the timeframe to purchase your item and come into the store to receive it is not bad; it has been a quick in and out for me. Decent store. ??”
“Went to buy some cleats and Austin helped me get the right ones. Super friendly guy and really good customer service. Also Quinton at the register was very friendly and welcoming. Coming back again for sure.”
“It's ok. I mainly come here for jeans since I'm short. Not much of a selection in tops and dresses. Kind of gives me Old Navy/Aero vibes as far as every sweatshirt or hoodie having AE or American Eagle across it. This particular store has plenty of extra space to add more clothing in the back but it is really spaced out. A smidge pricey depending on what you are buying.”
