“Michelle and her team were just amazing. I had oak cabinets and was very skeptical that they would look good when they got done. When they finish painting two coats primer two coats paint I honestly can hardly see a grain in the doors. It is amazing. The kitchen looks fantastic. It’s bright. It’s beautiful. It’s painted a cool white with gorgeous handles. It is truly not the same kitchen it was. I’m waiting on backsplash and then I’ll post pictures but Michelle and her team of Nicole, Jose, Tina and Nancy Were such a pleasure to work with so detailed oriented they asked about everything and we’re so careful The taping was extremely precise. I’ve never seen a crew do that before it’s a true work of art. there’s painters out there who can paint cabinets but this company is worth every penny. My husband made the best comment. He was not in favor of spending the money to redo the cabinets said it wouldn’t make that much difference. He took one look at the cabinets and said wow it turned out better than I thought. compliments To Michelle and her team.”

The problem was with the extras-a product protection arrangement and getting an Ashley credit card. The expenses for these 2 services totaled over $500, and we were not told the cost, but found out once we got home. We went in the next day to remove both, and it was no problem. Buyer beware.”

“Warehouse 55 is a hike, but once you get there, you'll be happy. This is set up like your average "booth rental" consignment place, but the place is huge (2 levels) and the booths are more like full rooms! It's beautifully curated - no digging for treasure here. This place is on the pricier side and some vendors have things that are clearly bought from overseas. But for the most part, Warehouse 55 sells gems! A lot of the vendors have their own IG pages where I've seen a few "must have" things - you still have to purchase through Warehouse 55, but it's another set of eyes on the prize;) I bought my incredible set of printing press dressers/shelves and use it as my jewelry box. I still have 7 drawers to fill! The ladies needing the counter have always been chatty and lovely! They're there to gab about your pieces and vendors- you can tell they love working here:) There's not much else in Aurora so make a trip to see the consignment pieces and grab lunch!”

“We’ve been coming to Geneva for around 15 years. Went to the Royal Wren and it is a must go place. First of all, really nice wine tasting at reasonable prices for the quality. Also, my wife has wheat allergies, and after talking with the owner (they go out of their way to help) she recommended a spaghetti that is from Italy, which doesn’t have all the GMO this country cherishes. Mancini Pastificio Ageicolo. My loving wife had no issues with the spaghetti , unlike what we get in this country. It was hands-down, the best we’ve ever had. As if we never had spaghetti before. A lot of other nice items to purchase in the shop. A must go to place again.”

“We have been using DuPage Lighting for the past several years as we update our home. They have an amazing selection to choose from and were great about staying within our budget. I love that it is a husband/wife team that own it and they are hands on with customers (and the sweetest people!). They also came to our house and installed every fixture.... even the tough 2 story foyer light. I recommend them all the time. You will be so happy to went in... and supporting local is so important.”
