“Grow Geneva is a really cute shop, and if you are a plant lover, I think it is a must-visit. I really liked how the whole store revolves around plants without feeling like a typical garden center. They have a large collection of cards, bookmarks, journals, and other stationery featuring plants and botanical art. Many of the pieces spotlight local artists, including Liza Mitchem and her Feral Creature Ceramics brand as part of The Earth Made Market. They also have fun “pause for puzzle” and other brain activity books, plus stationery for cat and dog lovers. There is a lot of little art and paper goods to discover throughout the shop. The plant selection was another highlight for me. They had a great variety of healthy-looking plants, from cacti to many different indoor plants, and I especially appreciated the dedicated section of pet-safe plants. They also have beautiful pots in different colors, terrarium jars in several sizes, compost, fertilizers, and other things you might need to take care of your plants. It felt like a place where you could come in looking for one little plant and easily leave with ideas for an entire project. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, and I really appreciated the care they put into wrapping my plants before placing them in the bag. It was such a small detail, but it showed how much attention they give to the plants and to the customer experience. I was also lucky enough to stop by during a terrarium-building workshop. The instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable about plant care, and the $18 fee included all the materials. It was a really fun, family-friendly activity, and I enjoyed meeting some of the other visitors and locals who joined the workshop. The shop itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a very recognizable personality. I loved the combination of plants, art, colors, and small discoveries throughout the space. I was impressed by the variety and by how thoughtfully everything came together. I hope to come back in the future, both for plants and to see what other workshops they offer.”

“Flourish is a charming women’s clothing boutique with a good selection of colorful and floral clothing, jewelry, and bee-inspired products such as soaps and creams. I liked that many of the designs felt fresh and different from what you usually find in larger stores. The owner was very kind and helpful. She explained how she curates the collection based on trends from top-tier brands though keeping the prices accessible. When I purchased a necklace, she pointed out that the design resembles those by Van Cleef & Arpels and even showed me pictures of the original. She also gave me some ideas for how to wear it, a thoughtful detail that I appreciated. The store also has beautiful cards and a very distinctive boutique-style decoration that fits nicely with the atmosphere of downtown Geneva. There is a nice variety of small gifts and accessories, so it is worth taking some time to browse. I did not find many pieces that were my size or quite my style during this visit, but I still enjoyed exploring the store and supporting a local business. Overall, Flourish is a pleasant place to discover colorful clothing, jewelry, and gifts, especially if you enjoy boutique-style shopping and more distinctive designs.”

“Denise’s Adornments is a very interesting women’s boutique with a very distinctive aesthetic. Almost all of the clothing is in white, beige, cream, and other pale tones, something I find very unique and authentic to the identity of the store. They have a large collection of cute, very well curated dresses, sweaters, blouses, and jewelry, mostly in prairie and cowboy-inspired styles. The store has a clear Christian and Catholic identity, with God-inspired quotes and products throughout the shop. They also carry Christian journals, devotionals, and hats with faith-inspired messages. The atmosphere is very poetic and beautifully decorated, and they play Christian music, so everything feels thoughtfully connected to the overall concept of the store. Well done! I was initially attracted by the 40% off rack outside the shop. I ended up buying a couple of pieces because I really liked them. My only concern is the quality relative to the prices. While the designs are gorgeous, many of the items I checked were made in China, and some felt a little pricey for the materials. I hope the pieces I bought last well because they are really cute. Overall, this is a charming boutique with a strong identity. The clothing, decoration, music, and faith-inspired products create an atmosphere you don’t find in many stores. The staff were very friendly and charming. It is definitely worth stopping by if you like prairie or western-inspired clothing and appreciate a Christian-oriented shop.”

Two familiar names now share one storefront. Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store opened their first co-branded location in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 16, and the concept is spreading to nearly two dozen stores in what the company calls phase one.

CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
