“We have shopped here a few times for my daughter’s dance wear and shoes. But this trip was worth rating. We were helped right away, and the staff was even able to fit us in for a last minute pointe fitting. Norma ended up finishing the rest of the fitting and helped us pick out the remaining items needed for this upcoming dance season. She was so knowledgeable and super friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Lastly the prices are super reasonable compared to another dance boutique we went to in barrington( no names) keep up the great work!!”

A small splurge gets you sheep's wool seat covers worthy of a Rolls Royce Cullinan for a few hundred dollars. Beautiful variations on the uses of sheep's skin wool show how you can get durable comfort and change your life. The owner cares about his products and keeps the prices reasonable because customer service and satisfaction live there...old school one of a kind must see store.”

“Purchased shoes for my Son. He was evaluated and tried on several pair of shoes. He selected a pair and was pleased with our selection. Fast forward s week....the shoes are no longer comfortable and hurt his feet. Unable to return the shoes immediately. When we were able to return the shoes, no hassel, no problem. My Son selected a different shoe and we were on our way. The Staff treated us as if we were there for the first time. No judgment, no hesitation just a willingness to satisfy a customeand they did. My daughter was ready for her second pair of pointe shoes and I wanted to try a different store than where we went last time for a more personalized experience. Willa, the shop's daughter was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. She was informative sharing her own ballet experiences. We also loved the attention she gave to my daughter to make sure that we got the right shoes for her feet which as a mom is especially important. We left feeling really great after our experience in their store and I will gladly drive the 35 minutes for our dance needs!”
“Yesterday I was fortunate enough to go into your VonMaur Store in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It should be noted that my friend and I received incredible customer service from Karen in women’s clothing, Ann in Jewelry and from a gentleman who helped us in Men’s Clothing. All three Sales Reps were juggling other people while we were shopping (and asking questions as well) and they showed extreme adaptability, knowledge of inventory, patience, and kindness. We were seriously going to walk out with nothing when Karen asked us to try a couple of different dresses and in different sizes and to make a long story short, we both bought the last dress that each of us tried on because of her incredible salesmanship and knowledge of the product, material and fit! A great experience to shop in your stores and she even surpassed the attention test that I always attributed to only boutiques.”
