βThere are only three Daiso shops in the US and this is one of them. At $2.25 an item Daiso is a Japanese equal to Dollar Tree. Plenty of toys, kitchen and home gadgets, health and beauty as well as some food items. All unique and nice quality!β
βStaff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming! They always have just about everything I need. FYI they have a $1 Aisle that's loaded with all kind of goodies from household goods, snacks, etc. Yep everything in that Aisle is $1 buck. βThis tree is conveniently located and definitely one of the largest dollar trees I've been to. It's definitely a go-to when I need little things, some daily necessities or some food for lunch/dinner.β
βI had a delightful shopping experience at Five Below while searching for last-minute Christmas gifts. The store had everything I needed, and I was particularly impressed by the assistance I received at the self-checkout. A very nice young man went out of his way to help me, organizing my items and even helping me email my receipt. His kindness made my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Five Below for anyone looking for a great holiday shopping experience.β
βThis is a really cute store with a wide variety. My son and I stopped on while running other errands and got a bunch of random stuff we needed for around the house at a really good price. The man working was very nice he even gave my son 2 candies which made his day. We will definitely be coming back.β

βSince I happened to be in the Forest Park area, I visited this Dollar Tree solely to purchase Jimmy Dean's Cheddar Cheese Omelets which I have grown to love for breakfast in the morning. Along with the omelets, I figured why not purchase other things like water, shelf stable milk, toilet paper, body spray, body soap, white bread, peanut butter, and snacks while visiting. The atmosphere at this location feels so calm in comparison to other locations I visited. The one thing that makes me feel uneasy are the panhandlers that are typically out during the late evening hours. And I must say that with there being a lack of lighting available outside contributes to that uneasy feeling as well. Dollar Tree is becoming more like Dollar General with what products are being shelved. During this visit, I could not help but admire a $5 pair of Super Soft Leggings which are the perfect lounge around wear. I swear, I will have to stay clear of that aisle in the future because I nearly left with a camouflage pair of leggings. I have been buying large bottles of water from Dollar Tree for some time now. Dollar Tree has my preferred brands in stock like Alkaline, Aquafina, Dasani, Eternal, Life WTR, and now Body Armor Sport Water which keep me purchasing consistently. Their sizes alone are perfect for the pace I choose to drink water, so Dollar Tree is my go-to choice for purchasing. Shelf stable milk continues to be an item that keeps me visiting Dollar Tree locations for. Its lifespan, price, and carton size works for me in comparison to buying out of supermarket stores. I make it my sole priority to purchase toilet paper every time I visit Dollar Tree, since it is one of my most used essentials next to body soap. Even though I would have preferred tissue by Scott Comfort Plus, I had to settle for Strong and Soft since Scott Comfort Plus was not available. "Hint, hint ", Scott Comfort Plus is the better tissue brand in my opinion. This location does have a parking lot of its own, a small lot which can feel congested at times when there are a number of visitors. If you are like me and want to avoid the uneasy feeling of a congested parking lot, there is street parking in the immediate area. Whether it be for the purchase of breakfast foods, bottled water, shelf stable milk, toilet paper, or even hygiene products, Dollar Tree continues to be my go-to for those items. βI was looking for a mirror and found a few here, from small size to the one I got, 48 x 76 inches. I asked if someone could help me with it, and soon, two people did help me get it with their cart.
The person at the register was friendly and fast, I paid and also got a bit of help getting the mirror on my vehicle.
They had many registers open when the line got longer.
The store was clean, there is plenty of free parking right in front.
Overall I like the store and I'll come back.β
βGreat store, very clean and has the best deals!! Great selection of items too, easily the best in the area. Also, the cashiers at the front had superb customer service - I believe their names were Jay and Pete. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area!!!β
βA good place to go with your children, there are candy stores and they sell very good gold. The frowner who is in front of the door is very friendly and they arrange gold very well.β
βWe was able to get what we needed but the wait time was crazy. The cashier ( name tag said GET) called 3 times for help and when the other cashier came she had an attitude. Before I left I let her know that she was doing an amazing job despite the lack of help.β

βI'm happy that the Five Below in Melrose Park is receiving an update recently, considering that surrounding Five Below locations have already been updated. This location, which is constantly busy with customers, never considered getting an update until now, and they are using the old Carter's building to extend the Five Below location just as an FYI.β
βI had an excellent experience... I purchased furniture online which didn't fit into my daughter's apartment... I had to go through the store for a refund and Darius I believe his name the store manager was very helpful and patient with me... He is awesome... His manager of the furniture department Mariah I believe is her name helped me as well. The store was fully stocked and clean. Whenever I'm ever in that area, I'll surly shop there.... And the employees were very helpful...β
βThe service here was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Service took only 2 hours rather than 4. They added extra screen protectors I'm so grateful for that.β
βThe biggest store that I have ever seen! Clean, all items at their places. I was there at busy hours, around 3pm and a line was long (4-5 people before me). 2 cash registers were working and it helped to reduce the waiting time in line.β
βThis is a good cheapie store for a lot of little things you may need around your house and seasonal supplies. It's not a good looking store, it's outdated and shows its age pretty badly and can get crowded but the prices are better than most stores but the quality is better than stuff at the Dollar stores. I've not bought food items here but if you need soap or handtowels or the like this is the placeβ
βIt is a store with a variety of products at affordable prices (toys, clothing, shoes, exercise items, art supplies, food, snacks, makeup, etc.), whether to buy or just to hang out (you will hardly not buy something ). It is a place where you are very likely to find a gift without spending a lot.β
βGood place for your basic home essentials, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash, also garbage bags and storage bags, they have some kitchen essentials too, all for $1.25....not bad....?β
βAs a Dollar Tree it's solid, shelves are stocked and it's kept really neat and clean. The reason I'm giving it five stars is because of the wonderful, wonderful lady at the register! I wish I had asked her name but I just want her to know that I think she made everybody's day a little bit brighter and happier with her positive and kind personality! I'm coming back to this location even though it's out of my way simply because of how nice everyone is there ? Btw it's Thursday afternoon/2:30pm so the store knows about which employee I'm referring:)β
βOmg.. Iβll never forget this kind lady associate manager who helped take care of me today. I usually buy my dishes, bowls and coffee mugs at IKEA. But I was just browsing around in the store. And found and I bought some beautiful floral design dishes with matching coffee mugs and matching placemats. This is my treat for my Motherβs Day. So when I have my friends or family over at my place. They will be surprised at the beautiful table setting with beautiful dishes, coffee mugs and matching placemats.
Thank you to dear nice lady night manager Hope. I love this store because of its beautiful kinds of things you can buy. And I am handicap I walk with a cane now since my stroke because I have lupus vasculitis. I had angioplasty surgery I have right vertebral stent & I have numbness on my right side body now.
Itβs hard for me to go shopping. But itβs people like dear kind Hope that make a difference in life. Thank you so much Hope for helping me today. That was so nice of you.

Check it out at the dollar tree store. I havenβt gone there for a long time. Itβs really a great place to shop. I give Hope 5 stars for great customer service.β
βI called the store looking for some cake decor, and Manny was so polite and helpful over the phone. He was able to find exactly what I was looking for and more, and hold it up front for me. When I got there, Jessica and Manny were waiting with my items and happily checked me out. I am so grateful for their help!β
βGood Five Below. Fairly good selection and could get in and out fairly easy. Only downside is double check the snacks. Found a pack of beef jerky that was green and moldy.β
βItβs ok but just a little packed and messy inside the store but the parking lot is a mess!! OMG they really need to repave the whole lot and get extra room for more cars cuz itβs a nightmare leaving there during rush hour and if there packed thereβs no where to park!β

I was in this evening around 6:48 pm. The cashier ( no name tag) wearing white jogging pants and a black top should be taught to not be holding a customer's money and texting... I wanted to scream from how unprofessional it was just standing there staring at her for what seemed like FOREVER to please put her phone down and finish my transaction. As soon as I walk up she's just texting completely ignoring me and my entire interaction was awkward. I look forward in seeing the manager whenever I walk in as she is incredibly helpful and pleasant and I could've right there and then called for her however she was busy putting the price tags on throughout the entire store trusting this young lady and this cashier should be written up. Next time if it happens again I will be certain to say something. If it were my job, I'd be out of a job, period. I did not appreciate spending $43.00 to give her $45.00 and wait forever to get my change that probably was about 3 minutes total just staring at her and she gave no care because obviously it's welcomed. I have seen the manager at this location train and she is stern, hard pressed while being gentle and extremely patient so I know it is not happening in her presence. We all have things going on at home, etc but that's what a break is for!!
As a professional, please do not respond with, " I'm sorry to hear this. Please email me or please understand.... ( Whatever reason is given it is not good enough)"
In my customer service career as a young cashier I had to learn the hard way by receiving a write up, having my phone confiscated by management until the end of my shift or being sent home without pay.
I do understand that this generation is pretty much... RELAXED to a certain degree but it is common sense, " the customer service is the first contact, is responsible for creating that warm and inviting impression to keep customers coming back vs to their competitors, are responsible for adhering to their employment hand book guidelines of what is acceptable and isn't and the customers wanting to come back purchasing inventory is what creates profit and raises"
Please, get it together. Give your Manager and the old lady a raise as they have been the consistent employees in that store since I moved to Wood Dale years ago. Stop hiring anyone and if you do ensure they have common knowledge of what is expected or train them properly so that these young folks understand.β

I always visit them at there showroom in Rosemont. In fact there's about 50 suppliers there showing off their items about every 6 weeks. I highly recommend visiting. the "TMC"β
