“I was in need of a auxiliary battery for my Jeep JL. After going to the competitor Autozone, they sent me on a wild goose chase to two stores assuring me the battery was at each location. I actually had them verify that it was there in the phone. Upon arrival, they told me it was a computer glitch in the inventory. Clearly was fed up at this point. I called O'Reilly's on Harlem and they confirmed they had the battery. Drove tot he store and they did. I was in and out. They also honored a veterans discount. This is now my go to auto parts store.”

“I have a 2010 Prius with 200K miles on it. My gas mileage was steadily declining, so I started looking for a place to get a refurbished hybrid battery. There were lots of places to go, some national chains, some local outfits. Their prices were all over the map as were the warranties that came with their products. The best combination of price ($1499) and warranty (3 year, 60K miles) I found was at Volts. They answered my questions promptly and I made an appointment to come by. The first thing that happened was they tested my hybrid battery and said that it was not failing. I could have driven away at that point at not cost. But I decided it was close enough to the end of its life that I would replace it while I was there. They got the work done quickly and I was on my way. Later, I also replaced my 12V battery, and the car works great. The mileage has also improved. I definitely recommend Volts. Just make sure you call them when you are coming in for your appointment so they can open the door and let you in!”

“Samantha was very helpful — called after my order was placed to let me know the battery was already pulled and ready for pickup, and that the wrench I’d purchased was out of stock and she’d refund me when I came in to pick up the battery. Day of pickup, she was there again, lent me the sockets and wrenches I would need to remove the old battery and install new, and processed the refund for the wrench and my core charge all in one transaction. I’ve never been to Batteries Plus before, but I’ll happily patronize the Elmwood Park location again. Thanks so much, Samantha, for your excellent service.”

“Stopped to get my van get diagnosed during these frigid temperatures to find out Mohammed offered himself to go out and complete the scanning.... mind you that it was close to closing. Printed diagnose paperwork and explained what I needed to do. Then asked for oil, he walked with me and helped me pick the type of oil I needed. NOT only that, went out checked oil and filled it!!!! Frigid temperature and close to closing.... if this is service then I don't know what is! Thank you so much for your help, you just don't know how much I appreciate it!”

“WES IS THE BEST!! After a very terrible and embarrassing experience at the Villa Park location being told "None of your brakes are under warranty!" It took Wes 0.3 seconds to show I had purchased a plethora of brakes over the years. Wes was courteous, professional and empathized regarding the situation. If you can travel 10 more minutes come to this location where they know what they are doing and how to be professional with customers instead of saying "there's the door!" because they're incapable of doing their job correctly!”

“This Thanksgiving I am thankful for O'Reilly Auto Parts!!! I went out to pack the car this Thanksgiving morning to drive to Indy only to find a dead and un-rechargeable battery. NOBODY was open among all the places that came immediately to mind. Did a search on car batteries and O'Reilly pops up and it is OPEN!!! I called and checked and asked (and the guy said "I answered the phone didn't I?" - Good point...). Ran over, got my battery, plus a couple of tips about it from the two very nice guys in the shop today. I told them that while I was sorry that they were working on Thanksgiving, I was sure happy they were open (both had Thanksgiving plans for after work). They saved my Thanksgiving with my family. I will be back for all things automotive!”

“I buy most of my parts there the alternator I don't recommend because I brought one in December and the alternator was making my battery light come on and the mechanic said it was something bad inside the alternator so I had to have it replaced I didn't have to pay for the alternator but I had to pay $100 to have it put back in my car wasn't happy about that already paid 100 to have bad alternator installed.”
