“What a delightfully amazing experience I had. I was looking for a lemon cypress and Tina not only went out of her way to find me one, the very next day even. She texted me pictures along the way and was able to pull off a delivery for me on very short notice. The tree was a 60th birthday gift to myself and she mad the entire process fun and memorable. Good customer service like this is so difficult to find these days. I am thrilled it is still alive.”

I recently attended a flower arranging class with my daughter, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The instructor, Cornelia McNamara is incredibly passionate—not only about the art of floral design but also about her own flower farm and the joy of teaching others.The freshly cut flowers, sourced directly from The Chicago Flower Farm, were absolutely stunning. From the vibrant, deep pink, red, yellow peonies to the delicate filler greens, every stem was fresh and high-quality. Cornelia provided a beautiful environment for us, complete with a delicious charcuterie plate and plenty of bottled water, which made the session feel like a special retreat.Beyond the bouquets, it was a great way to make new friendships with fellow flower lovers. We both took our arrangements home and now enjoy watching the blooms slowly open and show off their full beauty. If you're looking for a creative, relaxing, and high-quality workshop, a fun date night, a bridesmaid luncheon activity, birthday parties, mother/daughter date…….the list of fun activities goes on and on…..I can’t recommend Cornelia’s classes enough!”

I called them up and let them know what my price range was and asks if they would be able to put something together for me in Bears colors, since my uncle was a big Bears fan. They knocked it out of the park! I was very happy with what they put together and feel like I got a great value for what I paid.”

“One of the prettiest and true -to -picture flower arrangements I have ever sent. In addition, I really appreciated the ability to pick out a vase from a variety of styles to complement the recipients’ style and decor instead of the standard glass vase. The flowers themselves were beautiful, fresh, and artfully arranged. Also, I liked that I could select the time frame for when the flowers were to be delivered and the text with picture Ode a La Rose sent me in real time confirming time and place of delivery. Finally, the arrangement was fairly priced and looked luxe. All together an excellent customer/recipient experience. Highly recommend.”

For our wedding, I told her that I was looking for florals that felt natural and vibrant, with colors that would complement the venue’s yellow brick and patinated copper arches. I also explained that I was inspired by art nouveau for the wedding, especially because it was consistent with the design of our venue. I also told her about some flowers and plants that were meaningful to us and our families.
All that makes it sound like a long process, but let me tell you, it was so easy and seamless. Allison is an artist and she understood immediately. She was patient with every question we had and so down-to-earth. Her work is stunning and really made the venue sing. So many people afterwards told me how much they loved our flowers.
