I have gotten 5+ suits/blazers tailored by their team despite having most of thoae tailored before through another tailor. Their team was able to make it fit and look right and as it shouldve been with my prior tailor. I highly recommend checking them out if you live in the Avondale neighborhood.”
“Good service, everything clean. I've been washing here for 10 years, but I don't like the music very much. They repeat a single Reggaeton genre over and over again. The 3 hours it takes me to wash, that's what I hear. It's not variable.”

“This is my first time having to pay for a washer and dryer in a long time ( im a truck driver and the terminal i work from has free wash and dry) and i was surprised by the prices. I just went ahead and paid for it since it was no other places near.
The place is as clean as it can be for it being a 24hr open facility so i wasn’t expecting it to be spotless but it was cleaner than expected, but as long as the actual washers and dryers are doing their job and aren’t filthy it doesn’t bother me

Washers and dryers are QUICK but they are actually through. Most places i sit for about 4hrs waiting for the washer and dryer to finish , but i was in and out of here within 2.

“Life has been feeling a little overwhelming lately so getting my laundry washed and folded here has been a huge relief. Prices are super reasonable, they take drop offs every day until 9pm and everything comes back so nicely folded and wrinkle free. The owner/guy working the counter is also really pleasant.”

“Fine neighborhood laundromat. Lots of machines; very few out of service. Plenty of chairs inside and out (even a rocking chair!) and reading materials; blessedly NO television or music! Parking lot just outside.A mega-laundry is almost open just down the block, so I hope this place can hang on!”

“Wow, really impressed. I popped in to see if they did alterations to fix a small tear on my jacket. She took it immediately and put in a temporary patch so I can have my jacket for the weekend. She told me this was only a temporary fix that she didn't charge for and advised me to bring it back to be fixed correctly. A small act of kindness really goes a long way, will definitely be returning.”

“I recently brought a mattress topper (cotton shell, wool insert) to Clean As A Whistle Cleaners. It was a very big, bulky item and I wasn't sure about getting it cleaned as it was pretty expensive. After dropping it off I received a call from the owner saying that they are going to clean it and air dry it to minimize shrinkage although it might still shrink about 10 to 15%. I said that I understood the risk. He also told me it would take more time to clean - no problem. Well I picked it up packed in a nice plastic zippered case and it turned out like it was brand new and zero shrinkage. I really appreciated the calls and warnings about cleaning such an item. That is what customer service is all about. Thanks for the fantastic service, I appreciated it.”
“This has been my mother and my cleaners since PJ Cleaners closed years ago. The woman who always helps us, Anna, is sweet and helpful. If I come in alone, she is always asking, "how is momma?" and seems to genuinely be concerned about her well-being. The prices are a bit higher than other cleaners I have used on North Ave, however, location, convenience, and service keep me coming back.”

I use their wash & fold delivery when my apartment building’s washers are broken (or my laundry is too backed up) since I don’t have a car. It’s decently priced for the service, and they do a great job folding the clothes even when they are put in the drop off bags.”
