“The coffee is great! The espresso drinks are nice and strong. They serve Sputnick coffee, which I really enjoy. The space there is very welcoming. It's large, open, well decorated, and I love the plants! Additional pluses are you can play Pokémon Go in there, there's free wifi, and there's a lot of nice art in the hallways and all over inside and outside the place. Everyone there was super friendly, and they really knew how to make coffee drinks. Now, the Cuban sandwich I wasn't impressed with. It was basically like a grilled ham n cheese with jalapeños and pickled onions. It wasn't what I hoped for, but it wasn't terrible. It did come with a delicious side pickle and chips. There's loads of free parking in a great big lot. And the bathrooms are very clean.”

“We have had the best experience with Sit Social from their daycare, boarding and grooming services. Our 5 month old puppy, Winnie absolutely loves day care and is so excited every time we drop her off. We traveled internationally over Thanksgiving and were nervous to board her for a week, but she was so well taken care of and had the time of her life. All of the staff members are extremely welcoming and thoughtful, and they really look after the dogs as if they are their own. It has been so great for Winnie to socialize in a fun, safe environment at such a young age and she loves all of her furry friends. Kayla also did a fantastic job on Winnie’s first haircut and I would highly recommend their grooming services!”

“We held our wedding here Aug 2023, after having under 3 weeks to find a new venue. Jill made sure our event planning was seamless and she was very supportive and helpful the entire time, was so happy we found this venue and our wedding turned out perfect. The venue is absolutely beautiful, we were able to seat 150 ppl and still have enough room for a dance floor. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful our venue and wedding day was.”

“My husband and I were engaged for years and we looked at dozens of venues but we never quite connected to any place until we walked into the Nineteenth Century Club. Located in lovely Oak Park, it is directly across from a beautiful piece of land called Austin Gardens - a PERFECT location for outdoor photos.On October 8th 2022, we hosted 250+ people and you would never know it was one of the largest events the Club has hosted. Everything ran smoothly and our guests had an amazing time.Filled with antique charm but with all the modern conveniences you can ask for, we knew immediately that this was the place. We worked almost exclusively with Woody who is just phenomenal at his job. At the time of our wedding he was both the coordinator AND the chef. As a coordinator he is thorough, honest, and incredibly accommodating. He has dozens of “preferred vendors” that know this venue inside and out. As a chef - let’s just say we STILL get compliments on the food which is saying a lot as we had a Sicilian/Filipino wedding - two cultures where food is KING. It was delicious! Our experience with Woody was a blessing - so much so we consider him a friend to this day!PLEASE DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP. Take a tour. Meet with Woody. I promise you will not regret it.”

“Great atmosphere for hanging with friends and getting some tapas.Even though there is such a wide variety of tapas, I ended up only getting the patatas bravas. These were so crispy and dipped in a flavorful sun-dried tomato aioli. Also got the paella de mariscos. Plenty of seafood in the dish, all three being cooked just right. The rice was moist and tasty. The only thing missing was a little more spice, but other than that it was so good.Lots of food for a reasonable price, definitely worth trying.”

“Regardless of a few negatives (an hour wait for a lane and lots of food items were unavailable). It was a GREAT time!The counter clerk was helpful in getting us the best deal for our games. The cashier/ server was gracious and helpful in working on getting us a drink/ food deal based on available product.They were both knowledgeable and helpful!Some of the best service I've had in a long time.Also had lots of issues with our lane/pins/ball return and they switched us as soon as possible. ☺We also got 100 arcade credits for only $30 and that lasted the almost hour wait for a lane and then a good 20 minutes after we were done bowling!Games are 1-5 credits (not bad! My favorite, skeeball was only 1 credit! )And there were lots of cool prizes too!I got a purple teddy bear with a lime green bowlero shirt for only 1000 tickets! (His name is Benny ?)About $200 spent on a family of 4 and that included unlimited bowling- (we played 3 games), 6 long Island ice teas, appetizer/ beer special and 100 arcade credits!My 11 & 4 yr old boys had so much fun- but I think my partner and I had MORE fun! ♥TOTALLY WORTH IT!10/10I would go back again and recommend to everyone!Great service. “Four of us dined at Kama and had a very nice meal. The food was very good, but not of the high quality that we remembered (We've eaten there at least 6 times). We had not been to the La Grange restaurant since before the pandemic. The food used to be made (directed) by the head chef, and tasted authentic Indian, with a modern flair. The food last night tasted like it was made by a staff member. It was good, but it did not have the complexity of authentic Indian food. Interestingly, I dined at the new Wicker Park restaurant, and it was every bit as good as I remembered it.”

“I had a birthday party for my 9 year old here and it went great. Ahead of time they were easy to work with and had a variety of good art projects that she and her friends could do. The day of the party was easy. They had all the supplies set up, had a blue tooth speaker for music, and the facilities were very nice. We used the outdoors area for ice cream sundaes which was great option for having a more covid friendly party with unvaccinated kids. The price seemed very reasonable for the space and instructor time. I would definitely recommend them for kids who would like a craft/art party and you don’t want to have your house trashed!”

“Create your Space Studio is such a magical space to hold classes. I have been holding my group breathwork classes here and it is just perfect. The space is clean, bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sound system, lighting, and two clean bathrooms. Jackie, the owner, is organized, responsive, helpful and makes booking and renting the space a pleasure. I am so happy I found this incredible shared rental space in the neighborhood to hold my classes and build community. It's perfect!”

“This is one of my favorites places in the Oak Park / Forest Park neighborhoods! Love the decor, it’s multi leveled with a third floor outdoor and street level seating area for the warm months. The decor is warm with beautiful lamps hung from the ceiling and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and I have never had a bad meal there. I orders the grilled calamari- it was perfectly grilled and served on a bed of arugula salad. Best calamari I have ever eaten and for my main ordered a Milano pizza that the crust was crispy and just the right amount of toppings. Service was fantastic and the food came out hot and perfectly cooked. Great for casual dinners or a special occasion. Do not miss this place!”
