Bloomington Normal Airport Authority is a small, calm, and clean airport. It is described as cute and great, with little stress. The check-in process is smooth and security is short. Staff and employees are noted as friendly and kind. Parking is free and it is easy to navigate, with security being one gate. It connects to most major airports. There is a bar, coffee shop, and sandwich shop in one past security, but snack options are limited. Seating is available, though finding outlets can require rearranging furniture. It is a straightforward, no-frills, and easy breezy place to fly from and into.
Extremely convenient—no hassle dealing with the big TSA lines in the big cities!! multiple airlines and connecting flights. We really enjoy the smaller regional airports; the people are very friendly as well! I highly recommend using this Airport!!
