“Hertz at stl airport has easy to find shuttle to its car rental which is 5 minutes away. The shuttle was there once I got out there in the 2nd floor. The shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. I had to return back after getting the car to terminal 1 to pick up my wife and the 2 luggages. He gave me directions.”

“My flight was to land late at night when all the rental car places would already be closed. This was after a snowstorm, and most flights were cancelled or delayed. The staff on the phone were so helpful. They offered info on other transportation and vouched for local driver options when Uber would not go the long distance. This was not at all something I expected when they were not going to get a rental out of it. Thank you!”
“Online reservation was quick and pretty easy, then the pickup process was outstanding! Personnel at the desk were friendly and efficient, got me into a car within 10 minutes. And the car was exactly where they said it would be - unlike my experience with Avis at Houston last year....took 4 trips back to the desk to find a car...what a mess! Then the drop-off was simple and quick also. The National crew even helped us with a lost cellphone - we called to see if anyone had found it and turned it in and they (hate that I didn't get a name) went out and looked for the phone in the parking lot - way above and beyond! Hope to rent from National next trip!”

“While Budget always has great prices, it is the customer service at this location that really sets them apart. The rental desk agent was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. They explained the rental policies clearly, didn't pressure me into unnecessary insurance add-ons, and quickly got me into my upgraded vehicle. The car itself was immaculate and performed wonderfully. Exceptional service from start to finish!”
“My car needed some maintenance and needed to rent. I called this location and James is just a dear.
Easy to make a reservation and picking up was the easiest. First car has some smoke smell but they got me into a new car in less than five minutes. I will be back when I need to rent a car again”

“TL;DR: If you need to rent a car in town (not at the airport), this is your place!
We’ve been in between a 2nd vehicle for a few months, so have used this Enterprise location several times now. Customer service has always been great, the vehicles have been solid, and when there was an issue with one of the rentals (had to wash it), I was compensated at turn in time for my efforts. Location is decent, think of of it as South Mercer instead of South Veteran’s if that helps!”
