Downtown Chicago is great but please, please make the trek to Blue Island and visit Rock Island Public House. They make you feel welcomed and are pouring the best craft beer and mixing the finest cocktails. Very comfortable and friendly, even when they are slammed with a crowd. It’s like a ballet watching them work the bar. This place is unmatched.

The staff were really friendly and there was a good mix of regulars and visitors. The vibe was relaxed and unpretentious which made it the perfect spot to hang out with friends. The drinks were reasonably priced and they had a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. And of course, the jukebox was awesome - they had something for everyone! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fun night out.
