“I got my battery installed for $20. The connection had loosened over time so he put a thin lead shim in. Thoroughly cleaned off the posts and connectors with a wire attachment and finished it all off with a generous spray of WD40. He worked quickly, and I couldnt be happier.”

I went to AutoZone for a cap. I gave them my license plate and VIN…. but they couldn’t find my vehicle in their system. They asked for my make and model, which I gave, then if it was a 4 or 6 cylinder. I was pretty sure it was 6 but wasn’t definite. When I said I didn’t know, the guy helping me made a comment I considered rude: “Usually people know that information.” I didn’t feel comfortable guessing 6 if I wasn’t sure.
I went back to my Jeep to check, but couldn’t find anything to confirm it. By the time I came back, it was another guy helping me. When I returned and said 6, they found a cap matching the illustration on mine, so it was 6 cylinder. The radiator cap I needed was over $100 and wasn’t in stock at AutoZone… He had a different cap in hand and said I could get that one, but I didn’t want to buy a cap that didn’t match mine. When I asked the difference, he said…. I don’t know, they’re both caps……

Anyways, I didn’t buy anything and went to O’Reilly.
Oscar at O’Reilly was helpful from the start. He has a Jeep too, so from personal knowledge, he knew it was most likely a 6 cylinder. Their system actually worked, and he confirmed it for me … plus, to double-check, he even came outside to look at it. I didn’t expect him to do that, so when I noticed O’Reilly went the extra mile while AutoZone didn’t … especially after I had to go outside several times to get my VIN and figure out the cylinder count … I really appreciated it. Oscar suggested checking it right away and explained to me why I most likely needed a new cap. He seemed very knowledgeable. Plus, the exact cap my auto shop said I needed was $55 cheaper in O’Reilly .
Oscar was great … don’t waste your time or money at AutoZone in Hickory Hills... Go to O’Reilly!”

She’s very knowledgeable, she suggested some things I wasn’t even aware needed to be replaced and was enthusiastic with explaining why it would be beneficial to replace said parts. She was extremely patient and kind and connected very well with me. I hope the next time I need something she’s available to assist me.”

So he went to the post office but guess what they didn't have auto parts there either... So he gave up trying to find a place so he thought and thought about it really hard where oh where can he find auto parts!!! He really needed to find a place that had all that he could want and more... One day he googled where do I find auto parts... Guess where Google told him??? It was this place!!! This place has all the parts you could want AND MORE!!! More more and more!!! All the parts!!! Even ones that he didn't need...!!! They had aisles of parts and more in the back!!! All parts and even ones no one wants or needs!!! I hope that you are like the guy in the story and you come here to get your parts and more!!! Remember tell them TOPCAT from the Internet Google maps told you to come here!!!”
