It’s fun, great conversation, definitely worth the price ( and it varies for anyone that wants to try it out) they walk you through the process and are patient with new comers, just an outstanding outfit. “Massive shout out to the folks at Fair Game. I stopped in on a visit from out of town and ended up having a wonderful, appropriately nerdy conversation with the two fellows working there at the time. Based on their recommendation, I bought the Arkham Horror card game and had it shipped back home. To be honest, I was skeptical of this game because I did not enjoy other Arkham Horror games, but I bought it anyway because I wanted to support the store. It turned out to be one of our favorite games.
It is such a pleasure to get to talk to people who know games and can make thoughtful recommendations based on a single conversation. If I lived in the state, this would be my go-to game store. If you live near La Grange, stop in, have a conversation, buy a game, and maybe go back for game night. You will be happy you did!”
“Was very busy and hard to get help but after being there an hour with my kids I finally got help and was able to Purchase the slotcar I wanted/needed to race with my friend I'll definitely be back. They got a good little hidden selection of slotcars unfortunately they don't know enough to help other people ,with questions or carry new tires for the slotcars.”
“Employees were very helpful directing me where to go. I had use of their wheelchair. I left my rollator at the desk, to use the chair. Upon returning it, another associate help me to my car, and made sure I got the rollator in safely. On an extra hot day, I appreciated their safety efforts. Thank you, Michael's!”
“Store was enormous, clean and orderly. There was even a Halloween-appropriate terrifying noise going on in the back of the store. It sounds like a very large, angry animal was trying to break out of a plexiglass cage or something. Really put the Halloween spirit into the atmosphere. Will visit again. “Bought my first scale model for the heck of it and realized I needed some model cement. Didn't want to wait for Amazon so I saw this was the closest hobby store. Was amazed immediately upon walking in. They have a HUGE selection of models (military, gundam, airplanes, etc), puzzles, and crafting items. Didn't explore too much in the back but looked to me like they had a ton of stuff for RC and slot cars. Definitely coming back next time I want to build something!”

“An employee named Jeffrey helped me out ENORMOUSLY. I had a horrible experience with the GameStop at Riverside mall where they essentially refused to refund an insurance they pushed me to buy for my switch 2 (which I did not want). Jeffrey at Hodgkins helped me out quickly and easily and did not guilt trip me for canceling my insurance I was forced to pre-order a month ago. Actually an incredible guy, will only be going to this GameStop going forward. ?? Jeffrey needs a raise and recognition, actually the goat of GameStop. Thanks to him I will be coming in much more often.”

They have so many interesting things here, their selection is very large, and the whole place is really enjoyable. This spot is very clean, cozy, neat, organized, and bright. Also, they will help you to find the things you need. They are so accommodating. You can also check out so easily because they have many cashiers. Awesome service. This Michaels is very accessible, their location is very near and easy to find. You can go to their spot in just a few minutes from your area. Very convenient. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because their restrooms need some repair. But their place is still my preferred place to buy things for crafts and others. They are way better and cheaper than other stores around the place. Plus, this Michaels is also a great place to buy some decorations for Christmas and other special holidays. You can also order online and visit their website. They will bring your order to you quickly. Really wonderful spot! All of their items have really good quality. A really must-visit place for arts and crafts. I will definitely go back here again when I am nearby and I need some crafts again. Thank you for your awesome service guys! “I want to give a huge shout out to this amazingly kind little store. I was searching for a very specific item & one of their employees was kind enough to tell me the day their trucks came in & told me I could call & check. For two months I called and spoke with Alejandra and not only were they patient with me, they were kind enough to actually look. (I had called other local stores where I live and those employees were horrible to me.) I’m happy to say after my perseverance I got my ghost, and the staff was helpful, most importantly KIND after my two-hour round trip to get there. They really went above & beyond and I can’t thank them enough.”

“My Dad was a coin collector since my grade school years. He had the good fortune of meeting Joe over 35 years ago. They spent about 25 years building their various collections together. Dad had a variety of coins but his prize collection was his Buffalo nickels. When he passed away he left that collection to his 4 kids. I had maintained a relationship with Joe and so took the Buffalos to him to have them appraised. Joe looked at each individual coin with his resources available to put a value on each coin. I had taken the collection to other dealers and they did a cursory look at the coins and threw out a number. Joe's attention to detail and what I felt was a very fair offer, let me know he is still the friend my father trusted for 25 years! Thanks Joe! ❤”
“Not the biggest selection, but the prices were agreeable and the merchandise in pretty good condition. The guy was helpful, and I'm happy with my rolling stock that I got. Ironically the locomotive I have with the same coupler decided to stop running that very same day. Oh well. If you need rolling stock or a few locomotives I think you'll find what you're looking for there”

“Marty helped me very much during my visit he is a great guy and very nice and knowledgeable person, this is a small store but somehow they have everything you need, I came into the store looking for a 1/35 Panzer model (nothing special) and I came out with a Panzer IV ausf.G and a lot of tools to start my new model. I’ll be coming back soon for all the paints and extra stuff I’ll need in the near future.”
“Great store but prices are high when what you need is not on sale. Sales are frequent but I feel like items are priced high just so they can sell them at "50% off." When the 50% off price is really the regular price. No one would pay the full price for many of their items. Would rather see consistently moderate prices.”

“My niece is moving into a new home and she said she wanted to make it sort of country setting for her kitchen she wanted to do sports for her son and maybe a man cave for her husband and a girly room for her daughter. so I send her quite a few pictures of what Hobby Lobby carries and she was very happy . She's actually in Virginia now I don't know if you have a Hobby Lobby over there but she will be be coming in a couple of weeks to visit and she's probably going to be taking a whole lot back with her”
